Q: my 2001 dodge durango does the same thing. its normal until it warms up. | i have a brand new dodge durango. almost right away i noticed that | when i started it up after it was sitting for a while overnight or at | the office that it would not go into 2nd gear right away. after | going about 1/10 - 2/10 of a mile it would then shift into the correct | gear. i called the dealer and told him about the problem and he said | that this was normal. i have a hard time believing this is considered | normal operation. has anybody else had this problem has anybody | else brought it up to a dealer i would like to know | .
