Q: yup! this is going to be ugly! but i am not selling my truck that i = just got 2 months ago so i can buy a hd version. ill just have to kill= what i got & use the 7 1/2 foot plow. thanks for the input & the fisher plow link. kurt on mon 02 may 2005 065958 -0400 woody wrote on mon 02 may 2005 063524 -0400 kurt mrwizard@comcast.net wrote i know the truck isnt heavy duty but can a 8 plow be used on this = truck to plow driveways im not talking about doing big parking lots just = residential driveways. this truck has the hemi in it & a manual 4x4 shift lever = none of this automatic stuff that fails. it also has limited slip rear end & = the 20 wheels. if you want to plow you should get a 2500 with a hd drive train. you might be able to get a light duty 7.5 foot plow but that is intended for very light duty homeowner use. see for example http//www.fisherplows.com/ under plow selection. your truck does not have the front gawr for an 8 regular duty plow and that 1500 auto trans may not like plowing. the 20 tires dont help either. woody; 95fxds 1997 sfa 60920 199819992000200120022003 ama 602785 due to e-mail spamming bots my reply address is incorrect. add a - between mr and wizard this is what we have to do to prevent spamming sucks doesnt it .

something is shedding friction material and plugging up the filter probably the lining of the torque converter clutch plus since converter out = cooler in the radiator cooler is probably packed solid with crap and if you have one with the cheesy check ball to prevent converter drain-back set-up in the cooler line that part of the plumbing is probably solid with debris too what could be the reason my fluid isnt flowing threw coolant lines.....changed filter ...it works fine for 50-100 miles...then starts wynning stops working....thanks .

what kind of brake controller do you have most of the newer models have automatic settings that vary the voltage/amperage to the amount of braking needed. 2004 ram 1500; installing an electric brake controller. i got a wiring adapter at u-haul and i found the pigtail under the dash behind the e-brake. my problem is the blue wire is only putting out 2 volts at the pigtail. it show 0 volts at the brake controller and at the 7 pin connecter at the bumber. is 2 volts normal or should it be 12v...any suggestions on a fix .

cigarski wrote im considering the michelin ltx m/s. anyone here have any experience with these any other suggestions. i still need decent snow traction for the ski season in ny/vt. i live in jersey so the a/ts are kind of overkill. i have these on my dakota. great tire. they are quiet and smooth on the highway handle well in the corners and work great in the snow. i highly recommend them. last nov i drove from utah to colorado springs in a blizzard. never had a traction problem. -- .bob thanks for the info. i will be getting a set installed on saturday. as long as the dealer doesnt mess up the balljoint replacement on thursday. ; wayne .

on tue 03 may 2005 025635 gmt rm rm@blah.blah wrote snip. big missing item of info... how much does the boat/trailer/gear combo weigh i do not know that answer. i have looked on the title but cannot locate the gvw of the boat. i know a 38 model weighs around 8k so i am guessing a 32 probably is around 6-7k. i figure it is too heavy too but the dealer insists it will work. well youve done some mods to the truck but its still a 1/2 ton.. my 99 ram qq with 5.9 auto355 is rated at max towing of about 7500 pounds.. our trailer is probably 6000 loaded and thats about as close as id like to be to max.. you need some kind of cushion for safety.. my guess is that 6-7 k doesnt include the trailer 4 different dealers said that we could pull our trailer with our 01 dakota.. they were blowing smoke mac please remove splinters before emailing .
