Q: jph wrote chris thompson wrote gill bentry gillbentry@hotmail.com wrote did some googling. i think the motori motor would give me what i want. id simply go out and buy a liberty but an suv particularly a small one wont cut it for me. now if they made a liberty *pickup* that would be another matter. motori is a division of detroit diesel. anyway thanks for the link! where did you see that they are part of detriot diesel ive looked on thier site and see no such mention. although gm daewoo appears to have leased use of 2 engine designs from them. read the third paragraph down on this website detroit diesel acquired vm motori in 1995. http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/vmmotori jph its tough to keep track of who owns who with all these buyouts. .

on thu 31 aug 2006 203654 +0000 max dodge wrote id like to know why you werent more careful in the purchases you made. ebay like everywhere else you would purchase a vehicle is buyer beware. ultimately you are blaming the auction service for the problems caused by the seller. maybe its time for you to figure out who has responsibility in this situation and blame them. hint that would be you and the seller. i hear things like this from time to time. it seems some people prefer the wild west market rather than full-disclosure integrity and honesty. granted as an auction junkie i had hopes of finding a good deal - but - in my case i found it was all an illusion. i paid 5 mechanic-check-it-services at $100 a pop to look over vehicles. when the mechanic reports that the car/truck is not as advertised youve just thrown your money away due to a dishonest seller. when the mechanic tells you the vehicle is decent then you have to contend with shill bidders fruitcakes that will pay more than new for a used item and verious other games. momma always said i like to swin upstream and i guess she was right. i took a few knocks but i no longer play the auction game. - ymmv. if you roll the dice i hope you have better luck. .

snoman wrote nowhere else. it is availbe engine torque and gears to match that torque to load that makes a good tower not a high hp rating at 5000 no that makes a fast tower. a good tower handles and brakes well. a pleasant tower does all three. .

i am trying to figure out which gear ratio a 96 ram 1500 4x4 has. i know there was only a few options from the factory but this truck is new to me bought used. is there a tag on the diff or something i can look at without popping the rear cover look on the underside of the hood for a decal labeled equipment identification the axle ratios will be listed there. .

i know this is a subject that has probably been beaten to death here i am new so please forgive me. i have a 92 2500 4x4 with a receintly rebuilt 3 years ago jasper trans. about a year ago we had the od stop working on the highway i pulled over and replaced the throttle position switch had lunch.. and i had od again for about 1/2 hour and it went away again. the transmission to date works fine when cold or till i drive a few miles then i loose the od till she gets cold again. the engine temp gauge never shows hot and i have also just changed the fan clutch. i called jasper who told me it was either a speed sensor or tempature sensor. since i had previously changed the speed sensor and my speedometer is working fine i ruled that out. i have to assume the tempature sensor he refers to is the one attached to the cooling line under the transmission. how can i prove a bad tempature switch i am open to other ideas or tests. the thermal switch in the coolant line provides a ground to the sbec when the fluid temperature reaches 275f. i wouldnt automatically assume that a faulty switch is the problem there might be a problem that is actually elevating the fluid to cutoff temperature. .

from the max microtuner guide p0500 no vehicle speed sens signal p1698 no ccd/j1850 message from tcm/pcm since you say you have changed the speed sensor and with the fan problem i would suspect more wiring problems. on 30 aug 2006 104709 -0700 laura laurabp68@hotmail.com wrote i have a 1997 plymouth grand voyager se v6 3.3 engine and i replaced the oxygen temp and speed sensors also replaced thermostat fuel pump spark plugs and gave a diagnostic and check engine light remains on while driving and overheats occassionally for lack of fans turning on. found a short in fans now they are working and gave another diagnostic tried to erase the codes they will not erase and got these codes p1698 and p0500 after all this has been done. when test driving in drive the van will not go out of 1st gear and these codes still remain with the check engine light on. does anyone have any suggestions please help.... thank you laura happy camping. ldpoos@nopants.juno.com remove nopants to reply by direct e-mail; 2003 dodge 1500 qc sb hemi a/t tow package 3.92 gears 11 mpg towing 2001 aerolite 21rdb 21ft tt scales 2900 dry .
