Truck pulls to left when braking
From : john
Q: i have a 99 1500 ram w/ 115000 miles on it. i replaced the brakes about 8 mos ago. the problem i am having is when i apply the brakes the truck pulls to the left. it is gradually getting worse. does this sound like a rotor problem is it fairly simple to rebuild them and how would i know if that is the problem thanks alot michael ----== posted via feed.com - unlimited-uncensored-secure usenet ==---- http//www.feed.com the #1 group service in the world! 100000 groups ---= 19 east/west-coast specialized servers - total privacy via encryption =--- .

check with a dealer or someone who knows brakes. my 98 pulled when it was new and the dealer svc dept. installed a spacer to stop the pulling when the brakes were applied. kevin i have a 99 1500 ram w/ 115000 miles on it. i replaced the brakes about 8 mos ago. the problem i am having is when i apply the brakes the truck pulls to the left. it is gradually getting worse. does this sound like a rotor problem is it fairly simple to rebuild them and how would i know if that is the problem thanks alot michael ----== posted via feed.com - unlimited-uncensored-secure usenet ==---- http//www.feed.com the #1 group service in the world! 100000 groups ---= 19 east/west-coast specialized servers - total privacy via encryption =--- .

it pulls when i apply the brakes. the problem just happened recently and its been 8 mos since i changed the brakes. in my first message i meant caliper not rotor sorry. is there a definite way to tell if its the caliper. are they easy to rebuild thanks tom you dont have to rebuild it yourself. go to the auto parts store and get one already rebuilt take your old one in for a core. shouldnt be too expensive. .
