... my appt. with the dealer isnt until next week. anyone know of anything i can do to disable all this until then is the dealer installed car-lot alarm system still on it friends had a buggered up install and the wiring was chaffed under the dash from the brake pedal and caused all kinds of electrical wierdness. instead of removing it when he bought it they left it on the truck but tried to disable some of the alarm properties but managed to leave all the stuff dangling and got chaffed. they told him they never found anything wrong but he saw flashing under the dash when he was driving one night and discovered what they had worked on and screwed up. bp .

terry wrote ok so maybe i only have ding trouble. proud owner of a 2002 flame red quad cab 1500 ram. recently it has developed a problem that is driving me crazy until i can make it to the dealer for repair. seems that when i put it in drive and reach 15 mph the doors automatically lock as designed to do but now the dash warning light door ajar lights and the interior lights come on and the warning ding sounds. i believe i can even hear the automatic door lock attempting to lock with each ding as well. i could live with the lights on but not that damn constant ding ding ding....well you get the idea. all the doors are closed and locked. ive even stopped and opened and re-closed all doors and manually locked them all but the condition continues. my appt. with the dealer isnt until next week. anyone know of anything i can do to disable all this until then any guidance would be completely appreciated. thanks turn the stereo up louder. try some silver bullet band. -- ..bob 97 h-d fxdwg - turbocharged!! 01 dakota quad sport 5.9/auto/4x4 83 gmc jimmy beater 66 427sc cobra replica - project 66 mustang coupe - daily driver -----= posted via feeds.com uncensored usenet =----- http//www.feeds.com - the #1 group service in the world! -----== over 100000 groups - 19 different servers! =----- .
