Q: as of one year ago purchasing a weapon is damn near impossible much less carrying one in fact jail time if youre caught with a firearm and a set of tax laws that would choke a horse. - agree about the carry part - but what makes it damn near impossible to purchase one i can buy any long gun i want whenever i want. handguns are a little different - gotta apply for a purchase permit which takes my local pd about twice the legal limit statute says 30 days - usually takes 60+ but thats far from an impossibility. .

thanks tom. i figured it out after the fact. the way this truck is you have to take apart the center console to take the backing trim plate out that covers those two screws. dammit.... they went stupid again. i was pleasantly surprised that the dash in my 03 was about the easiest one to work on that id seen/owned. it sounds like they hired a ford designer for the newer trucks.... idiots. .
