Q: ya have snow yet check your email. roy no snow but theres water laying where it only lays about every ten years or so. i mean it rained like a bitch for about a day. we are getting that now. rain and wind. and there is nothing in my mail other than the usual bs. what should i be looking for my reply re the car pics of your fat ass sitting on a beach g nah not until april i guess. work is screwing with me. roy denny .

i have a 2004 3500 cummins and live in iowa. in the morning when its 20 or colder it takes abought 15 minutes at hyway speeds so 1900rpms befor the temp comes up to 200 is this slow for diesel then when i get to work early and sit in my truck for 5 or 10 minutes befor going in after 5 or so the temp drops at idle to around 160 -170 and the enging revs up to 1000 rpms. should the temp drop like this after engine is warmed up .

hi tom changed one on a 98 1500 one time in a parking lot with nothing but a cheap socket set. i think it took 10 minutes. hafta agree tom not a big job but it has been averted. turned out to be the battery. i had a spare battery and stuffed it in for a few days. no starting problems. got a pro-rated replacement for around 20-bucks and it is again singing like a bird. thanks to all who helped with suggestions. dave .
