Towing extensions for factory mirrors on 02 ram 1500?

Q: anyone go through the hassle of finding a good pair to fit the factory mirrors i have tried auto zone etc. chain stores. there stuff seems cheesy. one pair was ok. the dealer wants $350 for replacements that hook up to the wiring for power mirrors and heated mirrors which is what i have. .

i guess he did. the dealer wants $350 for replacements that hook up to the they are $450 i believe but are very well made i guess you missed the part where he was whining about $350 ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

anyone go through the hassle of finding a good pair to fit the factory mirrors i have tried auto zone etc. chain stores. there stuff seems cheesy. one pair was ok. the dealer wants $350 for replacements that hook up to the wiring for power mirrors and heated mirrors which is what i have. i have an 02 dak but believe yours is the same many towing mirrrors to fit pre-02 but none for 02. i visited and tried fitting everything i oculd find at autoparts rv supply/sales and dodge dealers for miles around. finally had to resort to the kind that clip in window sill and bottom of door and they have to be tight or they will vibrate and hum. after they are removed it takes the weather stripping about a week or so to lose the imprints from the clamps. they did serve me well in the end. inspite of passenger side going out of adjustment each time the door was closed so the so/navigator had to roll window down and adjust it after each stop - hth roninbc .

i upgraded to the gte/osram silverstars which i am pleased with. they have a higher color temp and are substantially whiter than the stock bulb. there is no increase in wattage which keeps your wiring/connectors safe. chryco service manager member sae anyone have a recommendation for a good headlight bulb upgrade these stock headlights just arent doing it for me... dale not camille .
