Tire Size 245 vs 265 vs 285

Q: nosey wrote why is nada so far off or are the other two off check the prices in your local paper for similar vehicles dodge ford and gm. people in your local area will be shopping around so it doesnt hurt to get an idea of what the competition has up for sale. if you live where it snows consider waiting a month or two before selling it. when the snow flakes fly 4x4 prices go up. and when the fuel prices go up the price comes down. given the current pricing on new models that have full warranties too and the surplus of new and used 4x4 in general these days it will not bring much. i do not want to sound cold or uncaring but if you can get 9000 grand for it run to the bank with the money because bieing that it is basically 7 years old now has over 100k on it and those models are not fuel thrifty either as you likely know first hand. at this stage of the game its value will only decrease and if there is another big fuel scare and gas hits 3.50 gallon or more you will be lucky to get 6 grand for it. 9000 grand to 6 grand is one hell of a drop - as for the $3.50 gas price expect that by monday at the latest and expect it to go well beyond that. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

on an 1988 d150 w/3.9 autosmec. the truck seems to not have enough fuel. no fault codes except 12 and i noticed only one injector seems to put out fuel. now if i switch the injector wires then the other one works.should fuel be at both injectors or just one until more fuel is needed 12 is the one that tells you your battery have been disconected correct. thanks in advance .

2004 ram 2500 crd 305/555 48re 4wd. i hope these are the specs your asking for i suppose i can get serial numbers if that would be better. nope thats fine. for the front band youll need a torx bit somewhere between a t30 and a t45 - i dont remember exactly. the adjuster is on the drivers side of the case right around where the front cooler line comes out of the case. loosen the locknut with an open-end wrench and back it off several turns 4-5. now use the torx bit on your torque wrench and tighten the adjuster to 72 in.lbs. next back the adjuster off 1-3/4 turns. hold the adjuster in place and tighten up the lock nut. for the rear band youll need a regular 6-point socket. this adjuster is inside the transmission and will be accessible with the pan removed. again loosen the locknut 4-5 turns with an open-end wrench then tighten the adjuster to 72 in.lbs. back off this adjuster 3 full turns hold it in place and re-tighten the lock nut. thats it. .
