Throttle Body

Q: check engine light came on. took it to dealer. they said throttle body needs replaced. it was ordered but is on backorder. my thought is this must be a common problem why else would it be on back order. has any one else had this problem 2003 ram 1500 qc 5.7 hemi 35000 miles. .
