Q: hey braniac the derivation of the percentages have been posted here over and over a k&n filters 97% an oem filters 98% you go bone up on 4th grade math im sure after a few weeks of dick and jane and spot problems you will be able to figure it out ok dip shi*s you fail to grasp the reality of the situation.....let me spell it out for you s l o w l y your math is correct by any calculator. your theorey is what is completely bird brained. you are not including the many many other variables involved to come to that final point of 150%. it is only a one percent difference....your theorey behind the division is what is at fault... wrong formula wrong situation. i believe with your calculations are inaccurate... both filters experess their effectiveness in a percentage of.....what amount of particles stopped by a given chart as to what is or isnt acceptable.....you must use their chart to see the difference. both being equal they are only 1% apart. their math. see the calculation in many other postings above. possibly you are believing what what is the 150% . you divide the percentages to come up with 1.5. just because you convert that to percentage doesnt mean squat without a sound theorey...... my last post on this -- message posted via http//www.carkb.com .

we replaced the egr value -- and one injector. it seems to be running worse than ever!! sounds like im being an ass...but... stop throwing parts at it....and at this point it sounds like you could have been fixed and for less by simply taking it to a dealer and allowing them to make the repairs..plus you have their warranty behind the repairs. .

tbone wrote spinning again dude the only one not making sence here is you. the fact is the national average was 12000 a few years ago and hasnt gone up all that much since then. ok so the national average car wont have 100k on it. look tbone you are seriously the one spinning here. we are not talking about averages here so why bring them up there should be many 2 to 3 year old hybrids with well above average mileage just as there are many 2 to 3 year old cars of all kinds with mileage. my neighbors econo car is a 2003 and has 102k on it. national averages make his car mileage impossible dang leftist rant and spin. hahahahahahaha how many conservative republican tree huggers do you know you think only liberal tree huggers buy econo cars get real tbone and quit squitming and spinning. sorry miles but the type of person that would buy a hybrid vehicle when they were still very new and untested were probably not driving them 25000 miles a year. people who buy econo cars often do so because of very long commutes. 25k+ for any econo car is quite common. yea how many excluding rental cars lets see some actual facts from you for a change. so you think the national average is the maximum people drive you do know what average is right tbone once again that would be you dude. to have any significant number of these vehicles above 100000 would require many of them to be driven 30000 miles a year or more and this is simply unrealistic. i just asked you to show me some hybrids that have lasted. there should be some that are driven. i know many cars driven way above average yet you seem to think there are none. 30k a year is not unrealistic. my wifes 2004 durango purchased last sept. has 24k on it now. impossible because it doesnt fit your national averages because the time is going to come and sooner than you think where we the world are going to start running out and i would rather have the majority of the available supply under our control because that is the only time when it is really going to matter. but according to you we should have all sorts of new technologies out by then and not need our oil. plus you liberals refuse to allow any of our oil to even be found. majority of oil where you wont let anyone know where. so here you are now worried about our oil hahahahaha at out current usage and rate of increasing consumption you are dreaming if you really think that we have decades of it left. then per your above statement that we need to have control over the majority of available supply you liberals need to allow us to find that majority supply. are you really this dumb when the oil supply begins to run out the countries that have it are going to begin hording it for themselves and if we are not one of them then we will be screwed. but you refuse to allow the usa to find that oil so your concerns above are false. i have asked this a few times and have yet to get an answer but i will ask again. what is the purpose of using all of our oil now how will doing this in any way eliminate our dependence on foreign anything i never said to use our oil up now. i want to start finding it now so we have it for the time as you stated above we will need it. why does it have to be in the us because its the usa that you liberals wont allow exploration to be done. thats where this dicussion and your ranting has been centered on. back to that many decades crap again if you think that we have many decades the only one that you are fooling is yourself. all you want to do is remove any fear of oil restrictions and in so doing remove any motivation to develope anything new. you do fit in the definition of conservative change nothing. if we do not have many decades of oil left then we better start working on building up our own supply now. you seem to talk from both sides to suit your needs here tbone. anything that doesnt agree with your limited viewpoint is considered propaganda or bullshit so what is the point. no when its from a propaganda biased website i do. i dont believe the crap on the conservative websites any more than your liberal website crap. you even argue with people that live in alaska about the territory they live in so i should and dont expect nothing less from you here. nope. i dont argue with my own family that lives there. .

they are all connected thru the multi-function switch and if you have nothing that will be the place to look. i would check the connector at the steering column to be sure that it is tight. if it is then there is a good chance that the switch has failed which could also be the reason that you were changing the flasher unit. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving i changed a blinker. when i tested it everything went out. now i dont have brake lights turn signal or hazard. i have checked the fuses changed the flasher and have put in all new bulbs. i cant figure it out.......can anyone help98 1500 are all these on a similar circuit where is the fuse for the turn signal a seperate breaker inside the steering column .

another thing to try. go into an empty parking lot and make right and left circles. this will get some lube into the clutches. al the additive apparently allows the clutch plates to engage more smoothly. ive had the same thing happen on another vehicle and after changing all the fluid and starting over several times i finally just added another tube of the modifier. works fine! ld i have a 92 dakota 4wd with limited slip posi rear which after running for over a half an hour at highway speeds starts to bind up and pop the rear axles while turning even slightly. this is a loud binding and popping from the axles as the clutches release is there any way to stop this from happening im worried that it will damage something. it doesnt seem to affect performance because im getting pretty good mileage for a 5.2 around 18-20 mpg highway. ive checked the fluid level in the rear and it is fine also added friction modifier thinking it might help. is it possible to have too much friction modifier in the rear possibly causing the binding does the modifier help the clutches to grab i am thinking about draining the rear lube and replacing it with regular lube without the friction modifier. or does the rear clutch pack need adjustment or shimming if so how is it done any advice appreciated. thanks. tom. .

about 55000 miles. 5.9 liter engine. i have started having problems recently. sometimes it would crank but would not start. then sometimes if i reboot it by disconnecting battery for a minute then it starts. also recently i put it in reverse then in forward again and the engine stalled. this morning i could not start it altogether although i had relatively little time. i own a code reader and a repair manual and would like to try to figure it out myself. what would be a sensible problem solving approach here i .
