hows the trailer and adapter holding up ive heard a lot of squawking about doing that from folks that feel the fifth-wheel structure is not strong enough to withstand the extra torque and twist that the goose neck adapter puts on the trailer... curious if youve seen anything negative with your setup. also did you buy the adapter somewhere or make it/have it made thanks. greg if i was towing all the time i might be a little worried heavy on the little. heres the adapter that i bought http//www.etrailer.com/merchant2/merchant.mvscreen=prod&storecode=e&productcode=39062&categorycode=fwgna i had to cut 1 1/2 holes into the existing fifth wheel hitch so that i could tighten the bolts on the adapter--this had to have weakened the trailers hitch. i look for cracks every time i take it out but i havent seen any form yet. my trailer is only 21 feet and pretty light so i dont worry about it that much. i liked that adapter because it allows you to go back if you want. .
