TAPPING NOISE

Q: sawers wrote whenever i accelerate a little aggresively i hear a fast tapping noise from the engine. it dies off when i ease back on the gas or reach a constant speed. any ideas i have an 01 ram 1500 v8 4wd.......thanks sounds like pinging perhaps thats common on 2000 and earlier. havent seen the problem as much on 2001 and newer. how many miles are on it how old are the plugs .

where you were born means nothing its what you believe that matters idiot. ahh yes youve just put the nail in the neat little coffin for your idea. liked the name calling garnish on that tail end; are you trying to look foolish poor attempt at spin max. you used to be much better at it. as to your statement you are exactly correct as always - now i would like to know how do you propose we test these people for their sincerity the same way that we do it with people born here. how will you know they arent lying to us when they profess love for our country the same way that we do it with people born here. how can you tell they dont have ulterior motives the same way that we do it with people born here. how will you know they arent connected with a terrorist organization the same way that we do it with people born here. how will you get them to prove their support for our nation the same way that we do it with people born here. one simple way to narrow the field is to require birth in this nation and thus a vested interest in the land of the individuals birth. can you guarantee with 100% accuracy that someone born here will have a vested interest in this land i know that you cant so what is the point of this segregationist requirement the next criteria is to be 35 years of age thus having a reasonable time to mature and gain wisdom and experience in leadership government and have a well founded respect for our system. you forgot both the need to be citizen and residency in the country for the last 14 years. your next post that you expect me to which you expect a reply should include specific answers to all of my questions above. and i have. you however have yet to give a valid reason for your support of this old invalid requirement. if not ill conclude that you are full of shit on this topic as well and have nothing worthwhile to say on this subject. of course you will max that is the only defense that you can muster. this requirement while valid at the time it was created no longer applies to the changing times of the world and now serves as a tool of prejudice and segregation both of which are clear indications of a closed and ignorant mind. is that what you are claiming yourself to be max -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

hogwash. ask any palestinian or israeli. ask the chechnyans. ask the baltic nations. ask them what max lets for a second assume you are that stupid.... ask them if the place they were born means anything to them. lol do you really think that you are going to get a universal answer on this one moron. that is right but times were a little different back then. again hogwash. we still have a national identity a national culture and a national security interest. part of the american dream that those coming to this country wish to take part in is that security. compromising it in any way compromises the american dream. how exactly does this compromise anything our national culture is a combination of cultures from other countries and for the most part has become a joke. hell i am having a hard time finding the english instructions on anything i buy anymore. the fact is that this old useless rule does compromise the american dream because it is the ultimate form of segregation.. anyone who takes the time and effort to make this country there own should get the same rights as any other citizen they do. however not every citizen has the right to be president. no they dont. every citizen born here starts out with the right to run for the office of president but none of the ones who actually worked and sacrificed for it do so no max they do not have the same rights as others. so much for the american dream. especially since they actually had to both work for it and give something up to be a part of this great nation. that only makes them like the rest of us except for where they were born. bullshit max. exactly what did you give up to become a citizen of this great nation and if you are correct and they are just like the rest of us then why dont they have the right to run for president bullshit. my statement stands as written given that any second generation who is born here can run for president. then how does this rule help anything these same people can give birth to a son or daughter here and then spend the next 35 or more years training them on how to destroy this country from the inside anyway. any way you try to spin it max this rule serves no purpose at the cost of limiting the possible selection for the american people. only if the american voter is a complete idiot. lets get this in perspective you called 59million of us idiots for voting for bush but now you claim that letting foreign born citizens run for president is a good idea because the majority of voters are not idiots yes i do think that they were idiots for voting in a man who has really done nothing for the country and apparently you do as well or there would be no need for this rule. is that what you are saying max no i believe its what you said in a lengthy thread bitching about our current presidents re-election. lol there was nothing lengthy about it. the fact is max despite all of the horrors that you think letting a citizen not born in the us could cause they still need to be elected into office by the american people so such a rule would only be needed if you believe that the american voters are not bright enough to make the correct choice even to that level and yet you say that they made the right choice when they re-elected that pinhead. talk about flip-flopping. btw that brings up another point. why in the hell should we let a foreign born citizen run for president when people like you cannot even respect the office enough to acknowledge that both candidates had the guts intelligence support and yes passion for the country. when your candidate loses you rail against the winner. point is this if you hate someone born here why would you like someone born elsewhere running your country any better and if you like them better why not go to their country thats about the dumbest thing i heard from you yet. am i suddenly supposed to like the man because he won the election i still think that he is an idiot and probably always will. what i said was that i would support and stand behind him just like the right did for clinton. now if you think that the right did that then what are you whining about and if you think that they didnt then whats good for the goose... btw what the hell does any of this have to do with place of birth it is the character and intelligence of the man that matters not where they were born. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

well folks i found out what the obd code above was telling me. i decided to make an appointment with the dealership after removing and reinstalling the gas cap. someone had mentionted that might be the culprit. even removing it reinstalling it and driving for over 100 miles didn do a thing so i reasoned it must be something else. wrong. the night before i was to take it in i decided to fill it with gas. after filling got in and started it up. no more light. now anyone know why sticking a gas filler nozzle in the tank access would do anything that removing and reinstalling the gas cap wouldnt anyway store it away for future reference and thanks for the help. gary .

i believe that rule is there to prevent this country from having a leader with a conflict of interest. what would happen if there were ever a conflict between the us and the homeland of a foreign born us president effective leadership would be unlikely in that position doubts warranted or not. bingo. agreed. said before but worth repeating since some just dont get it. max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .
