Steering slop

Q: the problem here is the folks with older trailers that dont have them or with surge brakes that havent been maintained and dont work any more.. question along that line. does your trailer/camper have the 12 volt dry cell battery setup that locks up the trailer brakes should the trailer become disconnected from the vehicle while towing thats required in ca also but you can buy a trailer without one. ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

iman nassoul wrote my durango seems to only have one drive wheel! after driving through a muddy area i noticed that only one side of the vehicle had mud spun on it. ive tried to get both wheels to spin but can only determine that one wheel propels the vehicle. isnt a limited slip required to be called 4x2 thats how this vehicle is presented on the window sticker. how can i tell if i have a limited slip axle can i make chrysler put one in since this is supposed to be a 4x2 nice try. but no you cant sue dodge over this. did you buy it new and did the maroney list lsd as one of the options and what does it say on the sticker under the hood does it list lsd if not you got what you paid for. to find out if you have it put one wheel in slippery mud or ice and one wheel on dry pavement. give it some gas. if the wheel on the slippery side spins then you dont have lsd. i found that even here in the colorado foothills most new dodge trucks do not have lsd; even those with 4wd. dont understand why not but thats just the way the dealer orders them. i looked at over a dozen 4x4s on the lot before i found one with lsd. -- ..bob 97 h-d fxdwg - turbocharged!! 01 dakota quad sport 5.9/auto/4x4 83 gmc jimmy beater 66 427sc cobra replica - project 66 mustang coupe - daily driver -----= posted via feeds.com uncensored usenet =----- http//www.feeds.com - the #1 group service in the world! -----== over 100000 groups - 19 different servers! =----- .

the only smog stuff on this truck is from the oil dripping on the exhaust manifold. - if mac or roy were riding with you most of the smog would be from the old fart sitting in the passenger seat!!!!!! bg ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

okay got it! heres what i found. i adjusted the linkage no help; i tested the switch it was fine; i shorted the switch and it starts every time. fella at the dodge dealer said the linkage cable must be stretched beyond adjustability. guess ill leave it bypassed and be really really careful. thanks all -mac short out the neutral safety switch for a while and see if the problem goes away. just remember not to turn the key to start in gear. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving nuetral is the same story as park sometimes yes but most the time no dice. thanks though try the neutral position if it works it may be only a bit of linkage adjustment to fix your situation. mike hi folks ive been dealing with this for a while and im very frustrated. 1992 dodge w150 318 magnum auto trans most of the time when i turn the key nothing happens its just dead. after running the gear selector all the way up and down anywhere from one to ten times and back to park it will start. sometimes i have to do this a few times before it will start. about a week ago the problem went away completely starting every time on the first try. yesterday it came back with a vengeance but i havent been stranded yet. i had the neutral safety switch replaced the ignition cylinder key slot and the starter. each fix seemed to help but only for a couple days maybe placebo effect. im thinking now that maybe the shift linkage is out of adjustment but the manual only states that the truck may start in gear no mention of starting problems. anyone have any thoughts thanks much -mac ps if you wish to email remove whatapain from the address otherwise posting is fine. .

this coming from someone with aol. whats wrong with wanting a nice looking pair of headlights i clearly did not state i wanted blaringly overbright lights. i just wanted a decent pair of blue headlamps that wernt neccesarily dot/sae approved because of color not the brightness output. christ what a bunch of touchy fuckers hehe. mopar440@aol.comnet.org redneck tookover hell wrote in he didnt say he wanted the brightest he said the bluest. he just wants his headlights to match himself not the brightest politics the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich. .

i know ive seen it posted here in the past but i lost all my bookmarks and also lost the procedure for overriding the fog lights in a 1998 durango to operate when the high beam headlights are on. can anyone help remove the fog light relay and jumper terminal #30 the common to #87a the normally-closed. .

stephen harding harding@cs.umass.edu wrote in from experience i disagree that fwd is better. ive driven both for years and i prefer rwd. i have to agree. with rwd if ya know what you are doing you can move the rear of the car with just a tap of the gas. you can avoid a accident or at least lessen it. with fwd you are screwed. i dont deny that fwd is decent in the snow. my wife drives a eldo but it is a damn heavy fwd. also it has blizzaks on it which improved it by about 75% over the factory tires. but get into a slide and you are pretty much along for the ride not so with rwd. roy joe black 03 dakota 5.9 r/t cc calypso green 93 mustang 5.0 lx hatch with a few goodies .

2001 ram 1500 v8 5.9 being from south florida i dont run into this problem often. i was up north twice and when the temperature gets below 50 my engine makes a loud whistling noise. it seems to vary with accelerator setting beginning at around 40 mph all the way up to 70 mph. my first thoughts are a fuel pump problem. any ideas the more i think about it were it to be a bearing or somthing of that nature id think it would have gone south after a couple of times going north. roy .
