Static Timing?

Q: 98 ram 1500 w/5.2 is it possible to set static timing on this truck and if so how or did that go away with the introduction of obdii .

if your truck has a distributor im a ford guy leave it alone.... this has squat to do with timing and adjusting the distributor will only upset the cam synch. afaik crank sensor is at the back of the right side cylinder head. and is non-adjustable. jim warman mechanic@telusplanet.net 98 ram 1500 w/5.2 is it possible to set static timing on this truck and if so how or did that go away with the introduction of obdii .
