Q: roy wow! i never thought of that! it would seem that there ate a bunch of things you never thought of. try taking two hours of constant lint brushing taping vacuuming every time the dog is in the truck. you want to do it for me that is somthing you could explore. hire somebody to do what you seem incapable of. i can brush this dog for an hour straight and it never stops. something wrong with the dog i would really prefer a retail establishment to purchase new seats not interested buying stuff melting in your back yard. learn to read. david greetings i have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 qc original cloth seats. my dog sheds like you wouldnt believe and i cant get the fur out. a couple of things come to mind. use a lint brush to get the fur off the seats. you could also brush your dog more often. i would like to replace the front with leather seats and the rear with vinyl. any suggestions on where to look for a purchase any junkyard in your area. roy thanks david .

@removethis.hotmail.com says... i have a 01 1500 4x4 quad cab with off road package with about 45k on the truck. i bought it used last year and it has cooper discovery a/t lt265/70r17 tires that are about worn out. i am looking at new tires any suggestions that are good on 99.99% pavement dry wet and snow but very little offroad. if you are happy with the cooper discovery a/ts get them again. if you dont like them let us know why and we can suggest a better choice. it seems that the original tires on this truck were 275/70r17. if i go with this size for my new tires will the truck sit up any higher or are the tires just wider i dont want it any hihger...it is already a pain to get into otherwise i love the truck. check out http//www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html for tire size comparisons. also this truck appears to have abs according to dashboard light but it certainly does not stop like it has abs dont get the abs sound and pumping like other abs cars i have driven. is the abs on rear tires only this truck does not stop very well in snow unlike my old subaru but the front worn tires may have something to do with it.... visit your local dodge dealer and have them look the vin up. they can tell you the exact configuration of your truck. they might even print it out for you if you ask nicely. -- ken born in bucks county pa if i remember correctly the older off roads do not have abs since off road its not too good holding on hills. one of the reasons i didnt get one back in 2000. the major reason was i didnt want another 360 it would have been my 4th one. and no i didnt want a 318 either. bdk 2003 off road owner with hemi. bdk .

shift solenoids. and after over-reving for a while you will probably get a mil lamp on with i believe a code 1540 indicating high governor pressure. replace the shift solenoids service the trans and you should be in good shape. btw when the problem occurs you can most likely manually up-shift the trans successfully. hope this was a help. my transmission seems to sometimes forget to shift. it will go through the first two gears fine then will rev up to 3500rpm. i have to take my foot off the accelerator and then it seems to shift into gear fine. it does tis frequently. also it doesnt shift into reverse right away. any suggestions .
