Q: i personally use gas line antifreeze preferably the methyl hydrate free kind. alcohol is soluble in both water and oil. he does not have usenet access and has a chrysler van. any ideas ====================================================================== could you post it in groups as soon as possible. subject water in the gas tank i drove my van into a car wash with tank cap open . the tank was full of gas. it could be that a quort of water got into it. i drained about 3 gallons out of it through the draining tube. no water was detected. it could be the tube does not reach the bottom. the bottom is flat. it may present trouble in the future. the van is fuel injection. how to remove the water .

you really need to do something about that attitude problem of yours. yelling this total bs just weakens your point. exactly what is wrong with bulldog how much do you charge to install a remote start -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving bulldog is shit just like everyfuckingthing at walmart is shit get a real remote start made by a reputible company sold by a reputible company serviced by a reputible company installed by a reputible company. walmart is for underwear and soap not buying autoparts stereos etc. is it difficult to install a remote car starter such as bulldog in a 1999 dodge ram 1500 pickup thanks i .

ignoramus12172 wrote is it difficult to install a remote car starter such as bulldog in a 1999 dodge ram 1500 pickup thanks i its not too bad. you get used to laying on the floor behind the pedals with a razor knife after the first 20 minutes. ive done it on several vehicles now. no chebbies with their security tho. i did install it on my 98 dodge 2500. the only hard part was that the website listed two wiring diagrams for my truck. i ended up using the 1999 diagram and it worked after than no problem. i dont use their safety cutout switch. i dont feel like boring a 1/2-9/16 hole in my finder to mount a switch. instead i snagged some mercury switches from a hvac buddy and i use them on the hood now. that way when the hoods open the system is grounded or disabled like the switch does. pretty simple really. no boring holes in anything and it looks alot neater as you can run the disable switch alongside the hood light wiring. i use the bulldog starters. thats what the local wally-world has. i buy the extended range ones with the extra antenna. should have seen the guys installing the new tires on the truck last month. i must have hit the button while walking around the store and the truck started. i got paged to the auto center and they asked me if my truck had a tendancy to start up by itself. it was amusing. i told them to open the hood to disable the starter so it wont happen again. they ended up not replacing 2 tires anyways. one wheel they couldnt get the lugs off. the other one had a broken stud. wally-world will not even mess with a tire if it has a broken stud. i ended up having my local tire shop mount the 2 tires the next day. replaced all 20 lugs too. sheesh. -dje .

take a look at my pissing match below. i asked how to disconnect the speedo and the group just blew me away with their honesty and integrity. somehow you seem to think honesty and integrity are bad traits whereas committing fraud and trying to screw someone else over is just fine. i suggest you go back with your lowlifes ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

ahyup i am gonna have one put in my 5 speed one of these days i found a few places that will do it and if done right there shouldnt be any safety problems! it just wont start if i leave it in gear how do they accomplish this a plate with some micro switches that goes over/around the shifter i figures that it must be some type of mechanical device either around the shifter or attached to the linkage. either way it would serve me no purpose as i always leave mine in gear. it would be slick on a truck with an electronic transfer case. the unit could shift the t-case into neutral then start the vehicle. when the clutch safety switch gets engaged ie. driver steps on the clutch it could relinquish t-case control back to the dash controls reverting back to the previous setting. that would be cool but i would be nervous that the transfer case would not go into neutral. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

i have a 97 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5-speed manual and have been very happy with it. nice smooth shifting transmission. we are considering ordering a new 2500 4x4 and as i am still partial to a manual trans i would probably bypass the automatic. use includes towing the horse trailer and plowing our long driveway which is real hard on the 1500. of course we have not been able to find a new 2500 with manual trans anywhere in new england to test drive. does anyone have experience with the nv-4500 manual transmission as the wife will also be a driver a smooth shifting trans would sure be nice. i would appreciate hearing from anyone with experience. also is the 5-speed automatic good enough so that i should consider setting aside my manual trams bias in the past dodge did not have a good reputation for reliability in the automatics. one other small but very important item the cup holders. my 97 has what i consider an optimum design with the cup holders high above the shift leaver. the 2004 slt automatic that we test drove had the cup holders low right where a manual shift leaver would be and there is no provision in the dash design for a high mount. so what is the situation with a manual trans thanks btw it is a nice minus 9 degrees with minus 30 wind chill here in central nh at 830 am. .

what do you mean splicing wires bulldog makes an adapter t-harness for the new keyless entry/remote starters that eliminates/minimizes wire splicing for almost all makes and models. simply plugs inline with a couple of existing factory wiring harnesses. david the hard part is lying on your back under the drivers side dash finding and splicing into all the various wires. took me about 5 hours...put one in my dakota and one in my wifes blazer. she says its the best xmas present she ever got. loves it!! btw its a bulldog and its done just fine for more than two years. like ac...once you have it youll wonder how you did without it. is it difficult to install a remote car starter such as bulldog in a 1999 dodge ram 1500 pickup thanks i .

rick; this would be a good example of the psychology so to speak of course that exists on this ng. a seemingly normal statement is made then a regular such as mini max responds with a sophomoric simple minded and ludicrous answer that has no bearing or foundation in the prior discusion. the regulars will all support these statements like this one from mini max and laugh as if you were the one that wrote the idiotic rambling rather than one of thier own. the psychology is interesting. they really dont like each other all that well but they the regulars identify so strongly with this ng that they have to support any other regular because to fail to do so would be to fail to support their own identity. now for mini max. i wouldnt take him too seriously. mini max is just a little handicapped and this is the only way that he can try to get attention. i feel sorry for him. i am sure that he is bitter about his condition and full of great ideas about what he could have been and what he could have achieved if he had just been given a brain. mini max what would you have done with a brain if you had been given one mr. theguy could you define who a regular is ive noticed over the years that you have posted in here numerous times but by this post it sounds like you dont include yourself as a regular. do you have to post x amount of times to be regular do you have to eat x amount of fibre to become regular or am i just being irregular i wonder............................ denny denny daguy has become the ng critic. gives him somthing to do. actually he adds to the entertainment value imog roy .

bowza how did they rob you the advisor pointed out that the maintenance schedule called for servicing the rear axle which you confirmed in your owners manual after you returned home. did they lie to you did they charge you for a service they didnt perform did they try to sell you something that wasnt recommended by the manufacturer if you have a problem with the recommendation of a 12k axle service take it up with the engineers at d/c not the dealer. the service advisor was just doing his job and after all it is your truck you can elect to follow the maintenance schedule or not. chryco service manager member sae i just got my 02 ram 1500 serviced this morning and i think its a shame the way you have to watch the dealerships they will pick you clean if you let them. i believe in changing the oil every 3000 miles and the spark plugs at 30000 and even the transmission fluid at 30000 but the rear axle fluid every 15000 is where i draw the line. the guy wouldnt even look me in the eye when i called him on it. i came home and looked at my manual and found it in the schedule b and it said 12000 if your gonna rob someone at least get the scam right. this is the first dodge ive owned and im very happy with it so far but i think i need to find a better dealership or at least one that is selling a lot of vehicles so they wont have to make up the difference in the service department. i may be overreacting just a little but so dont pay too much attention to me lol .
