Q: seeing as ive become the southern gentleman ive4 been looking for something to run around in locally. dont need a 400+hp monster to drag my skinny ass fishing pole and a cooler to the beach. so ive been looking at older jeeps. the last one i had was a 75 cj5 cant find one of them anymore around here thats any good. but i did find a 86 cj-7 that has had a body off 3 years ago. 6cyl 4 speed that im thinking about looking at. the guy on the phone says the mounts were done and so on as well as brake and fuel lines. you folks have any thoughts roy yes rabbit it will have enuff power to pull my ass to the beach.vbg if it had a body off resto it should be in pretty good shape. two common problems are rusted frame and body mounts. look it over well underneath if it has been used off road. i would also post your question here there should be some knowledgable folks. http//ramjaw.org/ .

can anyone tell me exactly where the horn relay is on a 2006 sebring 4-door touring v6 the horn wifes car sounds like it is either going/gone bad sounds sick weaklike it has a cold. i want to check the relay but cant seem to find it. i checked all the relays under the hood and there is no listing for the horn. i also pulled them one at a time and the horn still worked when each one was pulled. either the horn relay is at an end or the relay is. it is under warranty but i think there is a $100 deductable. the relay or horn or both cant cost that much. anyone know where the relay is located thanks the only experience ive had with a sick/weak horn was with a ferd. the stab on connector at the horn was pretty dirty. once cleaned it worked like new. fmb north mexico .

hello everyone in one of the previous posts it was stated minimize idling and idle smart engines only need 10 to 30 seconds for warm-up ya right. how true is this for the 06 cummins diesel motor i typically warm up for a minute drive very slowly up my gravel road about 1/10th mile til i get to my entrance to the county road and then take it lightly til ive driven about 5 miles. that should do the trick unless it is extreme cold. otoh my neighbor warms his up for 10-15 minutes every morning. does you neighbor have the high idle deal any comments suggestions i live near seattle where it hardly ever gets below the upper 20s. thanks. the rocket man .

its 404 est. here in oz its just past 630pm suns just setting. had a nice relative-of-turkey dinner with an aussie twist - chicken cooked on the barbie corn cooked with it with stuffing of course homemade rye bread rolls and vanilla-bread-and-jam for dessert. and a nice shiraz to sip afters. in my family thanksgiving is the traditional day to start listening to christmas music so we are. watching the sunset the nice dinner settle and saying happy thanksgiving to friends weve never even met. hope yall have a great day good food and good friends and/or family to share it with! jmc i put the first gobbler on the smoker almost 45 min ago. still have one for the bbq and one for the oven. it will be a good day and ill sleep well tonight. happy thanksgiving to you and yours also and to everyone else on rort. fmb north mexico happy thanksgiving to everyone except maybe for the turkeys! ken .

anyone know of a source for one of these to connect a laptop to the dbii port on dodges only place ive found is offering one for $200 - which is friggin ridiculous. .

ok checked the hoses and they are essentially the same temp. the return is only slightly not as hot which i think is correct seeing as how the core is basically a radiator and the coolant is slightly cooled as it passes thru. -- ------------------------------------------ laszlo almasi ----cool toys formerly carolina watercraft works ----mack daddy trailers ----ice angels ill check the hoses. where is the blend door located -- ------------------------------------------ laszlo almasi ----cool toys formerly carolina watercraft works ----mack daddy trailers ----ice angels the temp i see being indicated...it seems the air coming out of the vents should be hotter. are both heater hoses approximately the same temperature if not youve still got a restriction in the heater core. if they are then id say youve got a problem with the blend air door not opening all the way. .
