So what's new on the 2005 Ram?

Q: only thing i see is the dodge ram srt-10 will have a v-10 engine and boasts a top speed of 150 mph. cost around $45000. thats already available as a 2004 model. i dont think theres anything earth-shattering in store for the 2005 rams. the cummins 600 was announced as a 2004.5 addition and theyre starting to roll off the assembly lines now. expect ford and chevy to scramble and try and turn up their engines again further shortening their lifespan that should bring the 6.0l to what about 200 hours mtbf .

tom lawrence wrote .... expect ford and chevy to scramble and try and turn up their engines again further shortening their lifespan that should bring the 6.0l to what about 200 hours mtbf im sittin here chuckling about that 200/hr. mtbf. i know my v-6 ford was really a crap engine. anything that went wrong was always the cooling system except for the computer system that sat under the hood and cooked itself silly on hot days and did intermittent things...like stopping the engine at inopportune times. i agree. the new and revised f-150 with a 6.0l should really be a tow-hauler and mechanics dream come true. ;^ bp .
