todd take it to the dealer and tell them about it. my 03 ram qc hemi was doing the same thing around 7k miles. they replaced the rotors and pads on front and its been fine ever since then. they wrote on the invoice that they replaced the rotors with the latested recommended replacement rotors. which makes me think that this is an ongoing problem and dodge has issued a number of different rotors to fix the problem. carm minor issue. at 5k miles on my 2003 ram hemi 4x4 quad cab i have notcied a slight shaking in the steering wheel while braking particluar downhill. is this an alignment wheel balance known issue or tsb or combination of all thanks in advance! todd .

along with your owners manual there was a tire pressure brochure in which you mean in the shrinkwrap of evil!! i thought opening that unleashed the seventh layer of hell which is why most drivers leave it in that dark place glovebox and never cast their eyes upon it. .

i dont know about the ram but this is a known ongoing problem with the dakota. again no tsb. one thing to make sure of is checking the wheel bolt torque. on the dak if the bolts are torqued unevenly it will warp the rotors. dealer let me know about this when i first had the rotors turned. good bet is go go buy a torque wrench back the bolts out and reqorque them yourself whenever the wheels are taken off. on 20 oct 2003 053136 -0700 todd.roat@uc.edu todd w. roat wrote thanks carmen. any tsb associated with this todd take it to the dealer and tell them about it. my 03 ram qc hemi was doing the same thing around 7k miles. they replaced the rotors and pads on front and its been fine ever since then. they wrote on the invoice that they replaced the rotors with the latested recommended replacement rotors. which makes me think that this is an ongoing problem and dodge has issued a number of different rotors to fix the problem. carm minor issue. at 5k miles on my 2003 ram hemi 4x4 quad cab i have notcied a slight shaking in the steering wheel while braking particluar downhill. is this an alignment wheel balance known issue or tsb or combination of all thanks in advance! todd .
