Slick 50

Q: now that the k&n seems to have faded away any opinions on whether slick 50 is worth it. just bought an 3.7l 04 dakota will probably average 40k/year on it. had 200k on my 98 dakota used slick 50 am debating whether to do so again. cal .

now that the k&n seems to have faded away any opinions on whether slick 50 is worth it. just bought an 3.7l 04 dakota will probably average 40k/year on it. had 200k on my 98 dakota used slick 50 am debating whether to do so again. cal just change to oil and filter every 3k and dont bother with the snake oil additives! i have had chevys run over 200k with just regular oil changes no repairs that required opening the engine. had a 95 van with a 5.7 that ran 250k then stuck in a cam chain and ran it another 125k before the rear main seal let go. considered fixing it but it was really time to replace it! greg .
