Q: you sure you want studs in your tires those things are dangerous on wet pavement. i have driven with and without studs for 20 yrs. and seen the benefits and disadvantages of both. where i livesouth of norway the winters looks like the one described. wet/dry asfalt 90% of the time ice and snow the rest. studs are more slippy on wet asfalt however; the grip are a lot worse anyways on snow/ice and studs are a benefit here. but if they are legal or not where you drive i dont know thats your table...the decision ought to be made from just how much % they are driven on snow/ice. if that is less than 30% of the time go for tires without studs arthur .
