an honest opinion would unregulated corporations strive to do the right thing or would they exhibit unbridled greed in the quest for higher profits when answering use the past as an example of what unregulated corporations do. you do an excellent job of quoting the communist party line. john z kerry president t-bone steak houses .

i suggest using the grey matter between your ears but if you want a link you cant have it. i did searched all over the deutzusa site. never found what you claimed was there. wonder of wonders it wasnt on the deutzusa site which is why i asked for a link. unfortunately youve decided to act like a teenage or less brat and whine about my request. this is as good as it gets gentlemen. sure is. lets start with the fact that you forgot about the vibration issue but its clearly stated on the first page of the specs that the 2013 4cyl engines have integrated mass balancing. thats a balance shaft that counters the inherent vibration of the 4 cylinder. its also a parasitic loss of power that the 6cylinder 2013 doesnt have. the next feature that catches my eye is a drop forged crankshaft with screwed-on counterweights. ill take my crankshafts in one piece thanks. i prefer the counterweights be permanently affixed not screwed on. so lets look at the power ratings. youve been extolling the virtues of the 4cylinder so lets look at it first. its rated at 125kw or 169 hp. not bad but not even the equal of my 24v at equipped cummins which weighs in a 160kw or 215hp. its torque is a bit peaky coming in at 457ftlbs but only at 1400-1600rpm. since cruising rpm in the ram is 1800-2000rpm its worth noting that the deutz drops to 350ftlbs by 2400rpm where the cummins is a broad flat curve at 420ftlbs all the way across making power application for towing much more stable and smooth. the 6cylinder 2013 crushes the original 24v isb cummins but the cummins 600 in the 2004 ram competes with it handily. unfortunately the 2013 6cyl is also peaky in its torque which means its not a great replacement for the cummins no matter what version of the cummins you have. now back to the fuel consumption deal. you are saying youd like to have the four banger since it would have great mpg figures. funny then to see the ratings between the deutz 2013 4cyl and 6cyl versions. the 4 popper uses 198 gallons per kwh while its big sister with two more cylinders burns fuel at 195 gallons per kwh. iow i was correct the 6 cylinder is more efficient. yes. you are a repressed man ; you are very passionate about your truck arent you you should put that passion into something more useful. ahh yes the typical personal problems my opponent has when im clearly wrong defense. id say that my passion was very useful in finding the info that proves you wrong. and right under your nose it was. they designed the entire truck around the engine! to me ; really i guess you must have missed the development of the t-300 then. oh...so deutz cummins cat detroit ford mercedes and toyota are all wrong to build four cylinder engines... never said that at all. simply noted that the biggest problem they face and design around is vibration an idea you failed to think about. fortunately engine manufacturers know more than you. get off your lazy a$$ and find it. i found it alright. it proves you wrong. this was never a discussion of whether the four five six or eight cylinder is the best design bullshit. you made it exactly that when you suggested a four cylinder could replace a six cylinder in an even swap. and im not about to take your word on anything. then perhaps you should look at the facts on the website. i have read the specs from the manufacturers. 198 g/kwh is very specific. terrific. and the six burns less at 195 g/kwh. so despite the fact that you wont take my word the website you quote from which has your choice of engine on it claims the same thing i do. an inline six of the same design as an inline four will burn less fuel and do more work. damn how did that happen oh yeah its those parasitic internal losses you claimed i knew nothing about and had never considered. i dont care how many cylinders the stupid engine has ok sure ya do you wanted to use a four and abused anyone that disagreed with you. i dont care of your discussion of harmonics or balance. likely because it proves you wrong. throw your energy into something more useful. you are sucking the fun out of this discussion. no i am removing your bullshit and replacing it with facts. interestingly im doing it using stuff you should have looked at and never gave a thought about. keyword being small. the d50 came with a diesel option and there were a few small diesels in the d100. neither model sold well here in the u.s. thanks for the facts. whats your point the point is regardless of what europe does or buy or drives this is america where longer distances heavier loads and more wear and tear will prove out an engine more than euro driving. a small diesel does well in europe but not here. part of that is because the epa is silly in its rules. but part of that is because small diesels cant do the work reqired of them on this continent. now that a breakthrough i

democratic partys election terrorism are some democrats so intent on defeating george bush that theyve launched an orchestrated campaign of political violence designed to intimidate republicans a wave of vandalism assaults and even nazi swastika burnings have taken place across america in recent weeks. the attacks all seem to have one thing in common the victims are supporters of george w. bush. on wednesday columnist michelle malkin chronicled some of the more outrageous episodes of political terrorism in madison wis. someone burned an 8-foot-by-8-foot nazi swastika on a homeowners lawn which had been decorated with bush-cheney signs. the vandals used grass killer to spray the hate symbol. in orlando fla. democrats stormed the local bush-cheney headquarters. the ensuing melee left two republican campaign workers injured. one victim of democrat violence had his head rammed into an office door. the perpetrator later blamed president bushs negative campaign. in knoxville tenn. and huntington w. va. shots were fired into the local bush-cheney headquarters. in gallatin county mont. the gop office was vandalized twice in less than a week. republican offices in the seattle area in spokane wash.; canton ohio; fairbanks alaska and edwardsville ill. also have been burglarized and/or vandalized. john fund author of the new book stealing elections offered more examples this week on opinionjournal.com in miami police reported that more than 100 union protesters stormed the bush-cheney office and shoved volunteers aside. no one was charged because most of the protesters left before the police arrived. in tampa nearly three dozen protesters stormed the local gop office and intimidated the elderly volunteers working there. the afl-cio took credit on its web site for similar demonstrations - apparently all coordinated - in independence and kansas city mo.; dearborn mich.; st. paul minn. and west allis wis. notes fund florida rep. tom feeney and 49 other gop members of congress have signed a letter asking the justice department to investigate possible election law violations. respectfully submitted john z kerry president t-bone steak houses .

an easy question to answer three things 1. hatred of bush 2. hatred of bush 3. hatred of bush what motivates conservative republicans three things ignorance hatred greed no actually its 1. fear 2. ignorance 3. greed yep fear is a powerful motivator the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed and hence clamorous to be led to safety by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins all of them imaginary. -h. l. mencken .

sorry i should have said four banger detroits...not cats. which makes a bit more sense given that they are likely supercharged two cycle engines. id still like to see a model number. i dont think they use two-strokes in public buses or any bus in the us for that matter...epa would have a field day. .

roy wrote okay two thoughts. when i was wia and shipped to phoenixville army hosp. in pa. there was a ton of guys there in another large building. all of them head cases they were never outside never seen only busses bringing them in and i suppose out. that facility i hear is closed i wonder where they went. about 10 years ago had some marital problems sue set up a counseling deal for us. guess where the va. im a cv so im the friggin problem. anyway was tested for ptsd and went to a series of group meeting they called it combat vets anonymous. sorta patterned after the aa. was about 20 guys in that group and 15 of them were on serious meds thorazine was like aspirin they seemed to shuttle between va facilities no home they were 100% disabled got a check and were still on the street when they werent in a hospital. they couldnt function in a normal society. that was what i was talking about these guys at least went to the va how about those who didnt i went to about 8 of the meetings and was so friggin depressed after listening to those folks i stopped going. point is those guys didnt have the ability to help themselves and thus were homeless. roy i understand what you are saying roy and i agree there was a problem and still is to a degree. im not talking about these vets. im talking about the majority of the homeless that claim to be vets as a excuse. think about this. if 30% of ca homeless are viet nam vets then it would be safe to assume that would be the national average. you would be talking about a couple million people and i just dont buy that. i simply do not accept the fact that 30% of the homeless claiming to be viet nam vets are actually homeless because of the war. can you imagine the number of wwii vets that would have been on the streets if that same claim would have been made back then and that war eclipsed the number of men who served in viet nam. it is a excuse and a con for the majority of the homeless to make this claim. i lived in ca for a long time and i can tell you first hand most of the guys i saw on the street holding up signs saying help a viet nam vet werent even old enough to be in school during viet nam let alone the war. jerry .
