how easy hard is this job is it just unscrewing some bolts and reconnecting the new one essentially... theres a couple of tricks involved. first disconnect the battery then remove the upper and lower shrouds from the column. next remove the lock cylinder. put the key in and turn it to run. there is a retaining pin that holds the cylinder in place. push this pin in while pulling on the key and the cylinder will come out. now you can remove the ignition switch. youll need a security torx bit has a hole in the center to fit the pin in the middle of the torx screw head to remove one of the mounting screws. then push in on the locking tab and pull the ignition switch out. .
