Ram Steering problem

From : jerry brandt

Q: i just purchased a used 200 ram 1500. even though i do not experience any problems with the steering i read an article in farm show about a company called lukeslink.com that has a solution to this problem for $70.00. it had something to do with a tracking bar and that a replacement is a temporary fix. does anyone know anything about this compnay and if it works .

does anyone know anything about this compnay and if it works lukes link is a replacement for the problematic ball joint on the frame end of the track bars on 94-01 1500s and 94-02 2500/3500 trucks. its essentially an adjustable ball joint which allows you to adjust out any slack that develops. it works very well especially for the price. a more permanent solution to the problem is an aftermarket replacement track bar that does away with the ball joint entirely. in fact dc realized that as well so the track bars on the 03 and up 2500/3500s have been redesigned to eliminate the need for a ball joint. .
