perfect i like ngk. ive been using them on my aircooled volkswagens for years and work great. what ngk size is the correct for the ram 5.2 magnum thanks for your help. karls you will get *lots* of answers on this one. you might even re-start the spark plug brand wars. the generic answer is that any reputable well-made brand of standard spark plug in the correct heat range and set to the correct gap will be fine. standard spark plug means no gimmicks and frills not originally called for in the design multiple ground electrodes etc. count as gimmicks and frills so no splitfire or platinum plus 2 or plus 4. mopar spark plugs are champions. chrysler has been buying spark plugs from champion for many decades and gets them very very inexpensively. the only two brands of spark plug that have ever failed on me are champion and bosch. i used autolites for many years; my current preference is for ngk. to find the correct gap read the vehicle emission control information label under the hood. -stern .
