Ram 1500

Q: on may 28 413 pm brian bmkwh...@verizon.net.nospam wrote i have a quad cab 1500 ram. the registration says its 7000 lbs. i have a 2 ton jack. i jacked the truck up at the front right wheel which was flat. it took all of my strength to pump up the last few pumps. i was afraid it would fail and it was creaking a lot. will a 2 ton jack hold safely this load theoretically it should hold at least 1/2 the trucks weight. but as hard as the last 4 or 5 pumps were i was concerned the jack would fail. any opinions thanks brian is it a hydralic floor or cylinder jack when is the last time you checked the fluid level in the jack i know when my 3 ton got low once it was a pain in the ass to use. .

with regard to your warranty concerns youd be tearing up your new trucks warranty the minute you hook up that toy hauler... dc only rates them at 15350 and thats with 4.10s. does that apply to 5th wheel loads which combines pin weight and trailer weight isnt the gcvwr on the 07s somewhere around 26000# -- nathan in montana http//concealedcarryforum.com http//1911talk.com http//hipowertalk.com http//glockcarry.com http//inlinediesel.com .
