to theguy; perhaps dealerships would be in trouble if manufacturers allowed warranty work in the open market. i will say one more time though warranty will not sustain a dealership. this means the dealer is pulling a profit from loyal customers. dealerships may be in trouble if this were to happen however i will not be. i have an ability the independents do not fix the vehicle right with factory trained knowledge. consider that when you want your second largest investment repaired. brent master ase and gold certified chrysler technician .

i want to do a flush of my transmission fluid. but i have in my lifetime twisted one too many transmission lines when i attempt to remove it. i own the right tools flare nut wrenches but i somehow ended up kinking the line once... or twice... i dont want to do it again. i only do this once in a blue moon so i cant always remember how to do it. do you a keep the inner nut stationary and then move the outer nut doesnt seem right b keep the large outer nut stationary and then try to twist the smaller inner nut seems more right c do some combination of the above to un-jam the double nut so that it turns freely that is first losen the big nut then losen the smaller nut so that you can eventually spin both. actually seems right oh and which one is the return line on a 46re whenever the odds are 50/50 i always get it wrong. if i ask it is usually easier. thanks for the help. .

thanks nosey. its a usefull article. jitendra wrote i figured out the replacement part for myself. i was trying to turn the actual bulb unit and not the plastic ring that holds the bulb in place. live and learn. now just need input on the adjustment side of things. i dont know what steps you need to take to physically move the headlights for aiming but there is a good article on headlight aiming at http//www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html .

does the distributor have a vacuum advance if so make sure its receiving vacuum. if you have enough vacuum leaks elsewhere you wont build up enough vacuum to advance the timing. does your transmission have a lock up torque converter if it does try finding the wire and disconnect it. if its stuck in the locked position while the trucks not moving it will try and stall the engine. carb leaks try squirting oil on and all around the carb especially the base gasket. if it suddenly runs better then you know you have a carb vacuum leak to repair. invest in a cheap vacuum pressure guage to make troubleshooting easier. a bad pcv valve or a bad power brake booster will also cause a loss of vacuum. no hoses should be disconnected in the vacuum system. john i have a 1985 dodge ramcharger prospect that runs like s#!t. i have cleaned the carb disconnected the exhaust changed all the plugs and wires cap and rotor did an oil change. when it sits and idles it runs good and i push the gas and no loss of power. the problem is when i put it in gear it losses power and starts chugging. any suggestions .
