RB O/Haul Question??

Q: i have a customer that is trying to blueprint a 440. i sent him a timing set and he tells me there is 7/16 slack in the chain. one side tight other side loose. he had this engine align honed and the machine shop says they didnt remove that much metal from the main saddles. can anyone supply the dimension between the upper crank bore to the lower camshaft bore i have gone to mopar.com and that place is worthless as far as information goes. i know the gm performance manual supplies that dimension for chevy engines. i dont recall seeing that in the mopar performance catalog. any and all help would be appreciated. i can obtain chain sets for blocks that have been extensively line bored but i need to know if i sent him a junk dynagear through car quest timing set or if his block has been abused. thank you for your time and information. please e-mail to the address below as i have little time to sit in on these groups. skip skips speed & sport carpartman@aol.com 1500 northaven drive gladstone missouri 64118 u.s.a. 816-455-2337 .
