Q: im curious... how many miles have people been getting out of their clutches specifically in dakota trucks i have a 97 dakota cc v6 5 speed 2 wheel drive 3.21 gears bought new off the lot. my original clutch has made it to 150000 miles. mostly highway i dont tow often and i usually drive with utmost respect for my clutch disk by minimizing slippage during clutch operation. i have never noticed any change in the clutch pedal and i have never smelled any burning clutch... but i know its only a matter of time before i do. any ideas how many miles these clutches can realistically last if treated reasonably .
