Question about warranty

Q: i bought a used 1999 4x4 dodge ram last june or early july. i used the air conditioning for maybe a month or two tops and then it got cool outside and i havent used it since. i go to turn it on last week and its as warm as the outside. it doesnt work anymore! my question is do i have a case for having them fix this for free im taking it in tonight to have them check it. even though my original warranty on the truck is gone and my extended warranty doesnt cover air conditioners i mean i basically used it for 30-60 days and it dies on me. even though it took a year for me to find out it died. thanks steve .
