Question about 2.5L powered Dakota pickups
From : ruppster
Q: is the block for the 2.5l four cylinder engine that was used in the early 90s dakotas the same 2.2/2.5 one used in the late 80s/early 90s fwd cars if so what years was the 2.5l engine used in dakotas if the blocks are different will the external parts from a 2.5l t1 turbo engine bolt on to a 2.5l block from a dakota the reason for all these questions is i want to build a front engine trike using a 2.2/2.5 t1 from a fwd daytona but need a rwd transmission to set things up the way i want to. a pic of the type of trike i am after can be seen at http//www.openprairietrikers.com/larrystrike.jpg i would appreciate any help that i can get on this subject. thanks ruppster bryan at dodge-semis dot com .
