anyone got the skinny on what is in the new ram series for 2005 i see a lot of images from the detroit pre-show appearing but nothing on the ram. looks like dodge is building a mitsubishi truck for 05 and maybe some mods to the dakota. ford is making some special edition f-150 and mercury is making a luxury truck similar to the defunct brookside of 02. only thing i see is the dodge ram srt-10 will have a v-10 engine and boasts a top speed of 150 mph. cost around $45000. bp .

i cant disagree with that but what exactly is causing the heat loss. i have had the same problem with my dodge ram i did a backflush on the heater core and it helped alittle. before i did the backflush i put a piece of clear hose inline with the heater hose and i did have some flow so i know it wasnt completely blocked. it is a chronic problem with any vehicle that does not get coolant flush and fill every few years or sooner. is this a cronic problem with the dodge during the last week the heater was not operating at previous heating capacity. the blower was actually cooling the heat when on high. maximum available heat was at the first blower level on the switch. today no heat and its zero. any suggestions. temperature guage is showing 3/4. an open thermostat usually shows low engine temp. thermostat is about 1 year old. any thoughts. john .
