Q: fyi - apparently 98 dodge rams have to be programmed at the dealership. 99 and above can be done by customers my dealership charges $35.00 i checked with the dealership and a couple of online remote keyless entry companies to find this out. kirk is it possible to self program a remote key fob for a 98 dodge ram i have one working key fob presently and one identical non-working spare. i see offers on e-bay from people who will sell you key fobs and instructions. is it that big a secret. kirk tia .
