Power locks not working

Q: my 95 rams driver side door power lock switch as just stopped workingthe other side still works both sidesany one have any ideasor had this problemthanks phil .

hi phil i had the same problem 95 as well but it was intermittent. rather than get it fixed i traded up to an 03 g. i that doesnt help you fix it but at least you know you arent alone. --mike my 95 rams driver side door power lock switch as just stopped workingthe other side still works both sidesany one have any ideasor had this problemthanks phil .

on tue 01 jun 2004 232646 gmt nick c topolos ntopolos@comcast.net wrote i also have the problem on my 95 ram. i think that someone stated that you have to pull the door panel to fix the problem. i would like to know which part i should have on hand if i start replacing parts. nick jc wrote i had the same problem when i bought my 95 ram.... i think they replaced the switch. my 95 rams driver side door power lock switch as just stopped workingthe other side still works both sidesany one have any ideasor had this problemthanks phil sometimes its the switch but this can also be caused by the continuous flexing of the bundle of wires harness between the door and the door jamb. over time it fatigues the wires into inside the harness. open the door then have someone engage and hold the door lock switch while you wiggle and flex the harness. flex both sides as the left driver side harness can sometimes cause problems with the right side .. plus the left side gets a lot more use than the right side. if it works intermittently or just once you have found the problem. replace that harness. so many garys ..so.. clyde .
