Power Wagon first glance,

From : brent d

Q: brent d drgn1400@webtv.net wrote today we received our first power wagon. while some of you may already have much of its specifications memorized i learned a long time ago in this business not to waste time memorizing or studying options on new vehicles. let me emphasize that i have not driven this truck for ride quality power comfort quality etc. i only received a three minute glance. i was impressed by the added lift. the larger tires i think 33s complemented the wheel well openings perfectly. they were bfgs at. the concealed winch i believe was 12k pull really was impressive even the fairleads were concealed. most impressive was the electric sway bar disconnect. i wanted to tear that sucker apart and see what it had. everyone should at least check this truck out. it may not be the perfect off-road vehicle but it is the most thought any manufacturer has placed into creating an off-road work horse. i have an older ram 3/4 ton 4x4 4spd. and i love it. its a tough old work horse and it handles the mud with ease. i was 4-bying with it the other day. its ugly now. looks like its been through a war even has bullet holes. but for a work truck its been reliable and rugged. it will tows and hauls most things nicely. but its no highway machine very low geared. .

2001 dodge ram 1500 5.9 engine regular cab sport. for the last few months my coolant recovery tank empties. my radiator stays full to the top and there are no leaks present. the truck has never overheated. i do not tow or abuse the vehicle. when i do add coolant it is the 50/50 premix green. its about a quart or so a month i recall when i do add coolant to the recovery bottle. i let the truck cool down completely before i add any. just wondered where is the coolant going sometimes i can smell antifreeze but there again i cannot find any leaks or drips underneath the truck each day where i park. has me stumped. any help appreciated. .

this happened to also it was speed sensor gone bad in the differential amok hi i have a 04 full size 4wd pickup with the hemi engine & a trailer towing package. i went to the corner store today and on the way back noticed that the abs and brake warning lights were on. the brakes seem to be working fine but i also noticed the the speedometer was jumping around by about 5 mph even though my speed was steady. when i got home i also noted that with the truck stopped & tranny in park when i push the break pedal down the speedo will rise to 10 mph and jump around 3 or 4 mph. has this happened to anyone else or do you have any idea as to how i would narrow the problem down i would assume an electrical issue. it is under warrenty still but the dealer has a few day wait for service. thanks mikeb .
