i was thinking it might be because the truck is being over by the wind and tumbling along like an old tumble weed but that would be a gm product right bg -- budd if it wasnt important enough for you to take time to vote then its not important to me to listen to you whine about who won or lost. lights come on and stay on until i restart the engine. it seems to continue to run fine though! anyone else have this issue or have any ideas why thanks thats definately a strange one - but the first thing that comes to mind is the wire and connector going back to the rear-wheel abs sensor on top of the rear differential. that could be a loose connection and it could be flapping around in the wind causing an intermittent condition that gets the abs computer all upset. check out this connection clean the contacts grease it with some dielectric grease and tie-wrap the wiring down tight against the e-brake cable to prevent it from moving around. of course... this is assuming your 24v cummins engine is in a ram pickup chassis... not one of those neons or avengers or caravans equipped with a 5.9l diesel engine .

if kerrys mother had an abortion he wouldnt be thinking about anything. you make it sound like adoption is such an easy thing. let me tell you it isnt. i do find it funny that so many who believe in the right to life also support the death penalty. then pray tell what crime did the infant commit to deserve a death penalty is being conceived enough reason then abortions can be done at any age because the original crime was being conceived by the parents. budd i said before and ill say it again since you appear to be hard of hearing i dont agree with partial birth abortion!!! i simply gave a reason why people dont want to make it illegal especially with noexceptions. should the mother die so that the baby may possibly live even if she chooses not to until the baby is born it is not a child or even an infant and with the way we as humans kill just about everything including each other... -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

oh i see. is there a similar system that would work well with the 02 http//www.bankspower.com yes they have packages for your truck. they tend to be on the high side when it comes to price and a bit on the low side when it comes to power produced. banks caters to the 5th wheel towing crowd who are looking for modest power increases with an eye on reliability. they dont push the envelope. companies like tst products http//www.tstproducts.com and edge products http//www.edgeproducts.com both offer modules to increase the engines output and theyll produce more power than banks but they offer just the fueling box... youre on your own for intake exhaust and turbo upgrades. .

i just have to ask why do you want fog lights on with the high beams. they will just screw up your long distance vision with the high beams on. the light closer to the vehicle will cause more reflected light up close and that will cause your eyes to close the pupils some. that will mean you now cannot see as far or as well as you could without them on. if you think im fos try driving at night with the dome light on. it will do the same thing. fog lights are meant for fog and limited visibility where you need to light up the road under the fog snow. -- steve i have a 99 dak sport 4x4 5.2 auto with the oem fog lights. i found the piaa 4 hid fog lights that would fit in the stock hole in the bumper and still look oem. looked up in the shop manual the fogs run on a single 20a circuit. 20a at 12v is 240watts right so running the two 35 watt hids would not be a problem. but how do i wire the fogs so they stay on when i flip on the high-beams i am assuming the fog relay is tied into the lowbeam circuit so when the low beams are cut off then the high beams come on the fogs turn off too. would i be able to move the relay trigger wire for the fogs over the running lights instead the relay should be pretty low current. where might i do this in the wiring thanks in advance for any help! ----== posted via feeds.com - unlimited-uncensored-secure usenet ==---- http//www.feeds.com the #1 group service in the world! 100000 groups ---= east/west-coast server farms - total privacy via encryption =--- .

racerx@tomatoweb.com says... says... ken racerx@tomatoweb.com wrote i just purchased an 03 3/4 ton with the hemi in it. of the three trucks i have owned over the years this one handles the worst around corners and over wet pavement. heck its so bad that i dont dare go over 60 around a certain broad sweeping freeway curve i used to take at 80 with the ford i used to have. i know its not a sportscar but this thing feels like a roller skate. it needs help in a bad way. does anyone have any ideas they have tried which work thanks! heres another fan of the michelin ltx m/s tires. also consider upgrading the shocks. the stock shocks on my dakota were pathetic and the replacment kybs make it handle much better. also look into rear anti-sway bars which will reduce understeer. having recently owned/driven both a ram mine has 17 tires off road package and a late model gm 4x4 i have to say the gm did handle better especially on rough pavement. i think shocks are the main cause as the ride on smooth pavement is actually better on the ram. both of these are half tons but i occasionally drive my friends 2004 ram 2500 and while its a bit bouncier it is roughly equal to my truck in cornering. its tires blow on wet pavement touchy as hell. they are not the oem tires though they got sliced up at a motel parking lot and he bought new tires at the sears practically next door to not screw up the trip they were on at the time. see if the dealer will let you drive another truck to see if you notice any big difference between it and your truck. b so the deal here is to replace the ltx a/s tires i have now with either the ltx m/s or ltx a/t both from michelin now about the load range. i found that curious because mine are load range e and ive never seen that on a 3/4 ton before. im wondering if that isnt a problem. ive seen a truck with d tires carry 4000 lbs. mines a shortbed and i dont plan to abuse it that much. are the tires too hard my brother runs dunlops in load range d i think and hes happy as a clam. also its interesting that you mention shocks. ive been eyeing edelbrocks ias series. any thoughts ken what do you have them inflated to the ltxs i put on my sierra would toss you out of the seat if put anywhere near the maximum pressure listed on the sidewall. i ran them at 30 rear/33 fronts and they were fine with it for three years. 30/33 was the most i could run them and still get a good patch pattern on them drive through water and see if the tread is making a full contact patch. any more and the centers were the only place they were really rolling on. i think they were load range d. i took it to the dealer for an oil change and when i left it was like the truck was converted into a 3500. they had maxed out the pressure on them after i told them not to mess with them when i brought it in. i didnt bring my tire guage with me and so i turned around and went back and had them drop it back with them protesting the whole time to 30/33. apparently the max load on the sidewall was unimportant. it was something like 2000 pounds than what the front load was empty but the dealer kept insisting that i wanted to run them maxed out. i flat out told him he was nuts.. i wrote to michellin and they said 30/30 was ok nothing less on my truck. bdk .

hp wrote i have a 2004 dodge quadcab with hemi. i had a set of brighter headlights put in about a week ago. of course the drivers side one has either burnt out is defective or ive got some major problems. the high beams both work as does the passenger side low beam. these bulbs are 100w/85w blue type bulbs. i wanted to check the relays. where are they located theyre not in the fusebox near the battery i am going to go out now and try changing bulbs. i drive on regular roadsno off-roading if that helps. try putting the factory bulb back in the drivers side and see if it is still out. if you dont have the factory bulbs anymore swap the blue bulbs left to right and see if the problem goes to the passenger side. if it is a bulb problem you dont need to troubleshoot the relays. the blue bulbs that people buy to replace the factory white bulbs do not increase light output. the only reason people buy them is for looks. they look more like the super-expensive hid lighting systems found on high-end cars but they actually produce more glare and less usable light. if you are more concerned about the way the headlights look then use them. if you want to be able to see better get a good quality white replacement bulb like sylvania xtravision. .

if you go over 300hp youll need to beef up your transmission. lots of $$ the more horsepower you go. also ive got a 2002 as well and if you do put any kind of chip mod it alters/advances the fuel timing which in my reading is a major source of lift pump-then-injector pump failure. lift pump-$150.00 injector pump-$1500.00. the best simple upgrades would be to put an aftermarket air filter system afe makes a good one and maybe 275hp injectors. 4 exhaust to get a few more hp and keep your turbo cooler. these cummins diesels have a ton of power. for you to tow a 30 trailer and/or 3 sleds really isnt that much. the truck itself is rated for 13500 lbs of towing capacity stock. unless youre going to be racing or competition sled pulling dont get too crazy about too many mods theyre cool but do you need them 2002 is the best year of the 2nd gen trucks and dont need much in the way of mods unless you want to go all out but then $$$$$. just my .02 tom i was interested in the type of kit that comes with a dash-mounted selector like the one from banks where you can run anywhere from stock to stupid ;-. its for a 2002 dodge 2500 with the cummins. i will be hauling a 30 jayco and all necessary camping gear and up to 3 sleds in the winter. kv what do you guys think of the diesel hop-up kits any down sides what do you know of pricing like any other performance products - theres lots to choose from. some good some bad. some are straight plug-n-play some are powerful enough that you will destroy your truck in short order if you dont know what youre doing. downsides are more wear and tear on drivetrain components warranty implications and the like. pricing can run anywhere from $300 for a used pressure box to over $15k for a complete racing package with just about any level in-between. what kind of truck do you have and what are you looking to do with it .

ive got it on floppy and cd in case you ever want one. i may even have the original picture which was about employees and management. it took me close to an hour to rework the original picture but it was my first attempt at doing anything like that. -- budd pres. bush john kerry has changed his position on the iraq war so many times he could debate himself. b.c. and lose. on wed 27 oct 2004 033821 gmt budd cochran mr-d150@citlinkspam.net wrote lol yeah i can now see it would have been. i wish i had seen it at the time. btw did you save a copy of the two story outhouse -- budd no i never copied it. beekeep .

bdk wrote hmm i had michelin ltx a/ts on my last truck a 2000 sierra and they were by far the best tires i ever had on anything i ever drove. i only got them because there werent 4 ltx a/s tires the right size available the night i got them so i guess it worked out. they were noisy but a lot better than the goodyears my 2003 ram came with especially in wet weather.. i agree. i was rather surprised to read the negative report on the michelins. until now ive only heard positive opinions on them. i was never pleased with the oem goodyears on my 98 1500. they lasted about 50k though but i was glad to move to the sears michelin offering. i think they are called michelin lts in a/s form. supposed to be the same tire as the ltx just sold by sears. a *much* superior tire in my mind. they grip reasonably well in snow handled well are less noisy than the old goodyears. rain performance seems more than adequate. however...im pleased as punch with my new cooper snow tires from last year and im thinking im going to give cooper a try when these michelin a/s tires wear out. smh .

also check to make sure those tires are at the correct pressures front and rear and not at their maximum. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving i just purchased an 03 3/4 ton with the hemi in it. of the three trucks i have owned over the years this one handles the worst around corners and over wet pavement. heck its so bad that i dont dare go over 60 around a certain broad sweeping freeway curve i used to take at 80 with the ford i used to have. i know its not a sportscar but this thing feels like a roller skate. it needs help in a bad way. does anyone have any ideas they have tried which work thanks! ken .
