already did that. thats why im posting this for discussion. discussion of what you either buy it or you don t buy it. you either like the insurance coverage you have or you dont if you dont like the company agent whatever youll change next youll want to be discussing which way to wipe your ass up and down or side to side. an old marine told me they taught him to use just a single sheet poke his finger through the middle and then to wipe his ass then fold the paper over his finger and clean his finger. end of discussion back in the good old days before sexual harrassmentinstead of wasting time on your computer youd have been banging the secretary ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

and yes being seasonal in nature i really need something to do during the winter months. this is going to be one thing and next year i have planned to manufacture my own line of pwc trailers. having the experience of being a rider and knowing the shortcomings of trailers currently available i can offer up a great product and keep it on a limited scale to maintain the attention to detail i demand. -- laszlo almasi carolina watercraft works inc. 2810-5d yonkers road raleigh nc 27604 loballeng@mindspring.com las not much different than rec.sport.jetski right is redneck the grabowski of the dodge truck ng or what i guess with the seasonality of fixing watercraft snow plowing kinda makes sense. best of luck with your snow plowing endeavors. billg next youll want to be discussing which way to wipe your ass up and down or side to side. .

but the thing is that it is not a waste of money especially if you compare it to dealer parts costs for the paper filter. my truck is currently getting 16 mpg on the highway traveling at speeds in excess of 80 mph which to me is amazing. too bad it only gets about 8 to 10 in the city where it spends most of its time. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving 16 at 80 what truck do you have i get about 11-12 at 80 .

from your responses below it is apparent that you have thought this through as best you can and you are entitled to your opinion. probably best to let the discussion end at this point. tbone wrote tbone wrote well im certainly not trying to argue against personal responsibility but do you smoke do you like to eat fast food are you at all overweight do you like to hunt or even plink at targets do you do anything that a soccer mom wouldnt do i hope not because im sure not going to pay for your foolishness. and you shouldnt have to and why would you because we live in a civil society and we help people who are sick or injured even if their judgement is not up to your high standards. what a total load of crap. in a civil society you help people that for some reason cant help themselves at the time not reward people for stupidity. but the real foolishness is this... the net increase to the total medical costs incurred in this country due solely to the extra injuries received by unbelted motorists or motorcyclists or skydivers or whatever just has to be a drop in the bucket when you look at the big picture even if they do make good fodder in discussion groups. eliminating them would have somewhere between minimal and no impact on the whole of medical expenditures or insurance company costs thus even if they could be eliminated you wouldnt see any savings in your insurance bill. and you can back this up how perhaps you should look at the difference in auto insurance rates from state to state before saying things like this. the reason insurance rates vary from state to state are based on a myriad of complex reasons more regulatory than risk-based. if you really believe that the differences are based on seat belt laws then there is no point in my trying to convince you otherwise. i never said that it has anything to do with seatbelts and it has everything to do with risk. that is why so many insurance companies left nj. they were losing money. so in exchange for nothing or even in the absolute best case a pittance you are willing to accept the legal theory behind the seemingly endless stream of nanny laws that regulators seem more than anxious to come up with. doesnt seem like a very good bargain to me... because you are not looking at the big picture. what about all of the bogus law suits where people are rewarded for being stupid and we get to pay for it. if people would take responsibility for their actions there would be no need for these nanny laws but it doesnt look like that will ever happen. fail to protect the freedoms you despise and youll eventually lose the freedoms you love. i really dont know you but what you are saying seem to indicate that you want the freedoms but dont want to take the responsibility that comes with them and if you are unwilling to take that responsibility then you dont deserve the freedoms either. actually im saying the opposite... maintaining freedom requires a great deal of responsibility. one of these is to be well informed and to not surrender freedoms to regulators without a very good and compelling reason. there isnt one or at least not a good enough one in this case. exactly what freedoms are you giving up by doing what i suggested i really dont care if someone doesnt wear their seatbelt of screams down the highway on their bile wearing nothing more than a pair of shorts but if they are significantly hurt by these actions they should bear the responsibility for it. the laws that i would want are not nanny laws. they would do nothing more than assign responsibility for actions. if you dont wear your seatbelt you dont get a ticket its your choice and right not to but if you get injured because of it you cannot sue and must take responsibility for your injuries. no rights are taken away people are just forced to take responsibility for their actions something that has long been slipping away. if someone goes screaming down the road on their bike wearing nothing but shorts and they go down they do pay... in terms of severe pain for a long time if they live. but the rest of us wind up paying for it out of our pockets which also strains resources needed by people who are in trouble from no fault of their own. when you say they must take responsibility for their injuries what do you mean exactly i mean that if they get injured in an accident and they were not taking the required precautions such as wearing the seatbelt they lose the ability to sue with the possible exception of the other party being ticketed for reckless driving and being extreemly limited in making a claim against either insurance company unless they buy a policy with a provision for not wearing it. what if theyre stupid moronic idiots and have no money or insurance

i have a 2001 2500 4x4 qc with 5.9l and manual tranny...just as you are describing except mine is the previous body style. my opinions well i replaced the clutch rather early on due to a squeal that developed but i believe it was due to something i did not a defect in the oem setup. i have 86k miles on it right now and need to replace the nv4500 since the snychros have allowed the gears to grind a tad bit. i priced the components to rebuild and since the price is about the same i decided to just replace the entire unit but i am seriously considering converting over to the nv5600 instead...if it is possible. shifting this tranny is not going to allow you to speed shift. youll have to take your time. since this isnt a race vehicle it shouldnt matter. manual vs. auto id go with the manual any day of the week. you will really appreciate the granny gear when getting those heavy loads moving. btw while driving and not towing anything you will most likely be starting out in second gear. bottom line i love my 2500 with 5 speed manual...but would rather have a 6 speed manuak if possible. the only difference is closer gearing so towing should be better with the 6. -- laszlo almasi carolina watercraft works inc. 2810-5d yonkers road raleigh nc 27604 loballeng@mindspring.com i have a 97 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5-speed manual and have been very happy with it. nice smooth shifting transmission. we are considering ordering a new 2500 4x4 and as i am still partial to a manual trans i would probably bypass the automatic. use includes towing the horse trailer and plowing our long driveway which is real hard on the 1500. of course we have not been able to find a new 2500 with manual trans anywhere in new england to test drive. does anyone have experience with the nv-4500 manual transmission as the wife will also be a driver a smooth shifting trans would sure be nice. i would appreciate hearing from anyone with experience. also is the 5-speed automatic good enough so that i should consider setting aside my manual trams bias in the past dodge did not have a good reputation for reliability in the automatics. one other small but very important item the cup holders. my 97 has what i consider an optimum design with the cup holders high above the shift leaver. the 2004 slt automatic that we test drove had the cup holders low right where a manual shift leaver would be and there is no provision in the dash design for a high mount. so what is the situation with a manual trans thanks btw it is a nice minus 9 degrees with minus 30 wind chill here in central nh at 830 am. .
