i know that chey and gmc full size 1500 pickups did have a plastic bed option a few years ago. im unsure if they still have it or not. ive heard there has been a limited production run with dedicated plastic harder than steel fireproof truck bed made by global tech inc. and could be introduced as an oem and aftermarket option. anyone else seen or heard of these yet .
