Q: sorry budd mike is probably out checking the temps of his heated seats... g the tps on your 3 liter is non-adjustable. it only fits on one way with no tweaking allowed. is there any other codes stored the hesitation may be a dirty throttle body which is common on the 3.0 denny mike i just found out from my son that he had the tps off my lebaron 95 3.0 when he was trying to replace the map sensor. is there a specific adjustment procedure to installing it i have slight surge at low speed and occasional hesitation. thanks! -- budd if it wasnt important enough for you to take time to vote then its not important to me to listen to you whine about who won or lost. .

absolutely but epa is gonna want everyone to do it and i would guess 99% of the people do that......when the vehicle is still under warranty i guess epa wants 100% in or out of warranty maxpower wrote get used to it wait untill the manufactuers are required to install transponders on all cars for emissions if your check engine lite comes on it will send the dmv your vehicle info and that will require you to have it fixed in a certain amount of time of be fined its if the check engine light comes on shouldnt you.... check the engine! 99% of the time when that light comes on something to broken and needs to be fixed anyways. it would be a good motivator for people like my parents that drive for months with the maintenance required light on. i just read in autoweek about how they were testing some new chevy i think it was the malibu max while taking it though the slalom the onstar voice came on and said collision detected calling onstar they had a fun time explaining to the onstar person that there was no collision and the air bags were not deployed. .

budd cochran wrote the only way a 747 can accelerate faster than a dragster is to put a small nuke under the tail and light the fuse. lets see how the dragster does when its loaded with the same weight as a 747. at the strip its common to see jet cars vs. funny cars. usually the funny car will win because the jet takes awhile to get moving out of the hole. but the jets top speed is way above the funny car at the finish. in a 1/2 mile race the jet would win every time. at airshows i see a jet dragster race a stunt plane. the plane crosses the start line at about 200mph. it goes back and forth every time ive seen it as to who wins. .

you can put the tps sensor on backwards and it wont work...meaning if you flip it around it will screw on and not give a reading this will also damage the sensor no codes but ill clean the throttle body and see what happens. we just got back from a run to phoenix to the wal-mart . . .ok just kidding. went to visit my youngest in school down there and the little bomb did real good other than a bit of surge around town. lol even surprised a few ricer wannabes bg -- budd sorry budd mike is probably out checking the temps of his heated seats... g the tps on your 3 liter is non-adjustable. it only fits on one way with no tweaking allowed. is there any other codes stored the hesitation may be a dirty throttle body which is common on the 3.0 denny mike i just found out from my son that he had the tps off my lebaron 95 3.0 when he was trying to replace the map sensor. is there a specific adjustment procedure to installing it i have slight surge at low speed and occasional hesitation. thanks! -- budd if it wasnt important enough for you to take time to vote then its not important to me to listen to you whine about who won or lost. .

a gps is a completely different animal from a black box. horseshit. the black box performs the same functions recording speed distance direction just as a gps would. the fact that you cant drive at the speed limit shows that you are not deserving of the discount that they offer anyway so no harm no foul. no one drives the speed limit in my experience. those that do quickly realize they are in peril doing so. ive driven in dc baltimore philly harrisburg scranton w-b wilmington etc. more than once and none of those cities enforce the limit let alone have people driving it. i was coming out of dc doing 85mph in bumper to bumper traffic a cop with radar was very obviously clocking all of us i saw no one pulled over. i regularly drive at 75mph on pa interstates and despite our former gov. emphasizing strict enforcement of 65mph the troopers still dont write tickets until 76mph and most of the time will worry more about erratic driving then simply speeding. in philly rush hour doing the speed limit would be unheard of simply because the surekill crawlway lives up to its nickname and moves at less than the posted limit almost constantly. got facts max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .

i has to i would say. the only way a 747 can accelerate faster than a dragster is to put a small nuke under the tail and light the fuse. it seems i remember hot rod comparing bersteins car to an f-18 cat shot off a carrier . . the jet lost. -- budd if it wasnt important enough for you to take time to vote then its not important to me to listen to you whine about who won or lost. cool stats. maybe it can put out more power than a 747 at cruise. however i find it hard to believe that the engine puts out more power than the 240000lbs of thrust some 747s can. a lesson in acceleration ------------------------------------ * under full throttle a top fuel dragster engine consumes 1 gallons of nitromethane per second; a fully loaded 747 consumes jet fuel at the same rate with 25% less energy being produced. .

dont get too thick or you can kiss that motor goodbye. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving i had my oil changed 1 week ago with 5w-20 as i had read on dtw forums that this would get rid of my hemi tick! it did nothing for the tick but with winter in canada approaching the thin oil shouldnt hurt but will change to something thick in the spring! scott i have been lurking here since taking posession of my 04 durango ltd with the hemi. while at the dealership having a minor tweak done to my nav/radio the service manager tried to sell me an oil change two-way sneeze-thru windvents star-studded mud guards...........musta been a slow day. i told him that i had already had a change at 500 mi. with 5w-30 dino and would change again at 2k before going to full synthetic around 4k. this is an approach which i have used over multiple vehicles the theory being to get the chips out early while allowing the best ring seating during break in by sticking with dino. he told me 1. this is totally unnecessary due to modern manufacturing tolerances. 2. despite the owners manual calling for 5w-30 there was a tsb suggesting/requiring use of 5w-20 in all hemis. they use a semi-synthetic. any comments on the above 5w-20 seems awfully light to me. over the years ive used mobil-1 royal purple and amsoil in various vehicles. any comments on which is thought to be best nowadays tia mopartee .
