ive had the jet chip stage 1 for the last three years on my 2k dakota 4.7 qc with standard trans and ive been very pleased. you can really tell in the midrange performance when you need it - like entering a freeway. i dont tow anything and the mileage doesnt seem to suffer much and on long trips i can go 425 miles plus on a fillup. so i would put one on my wifes 3.7 liberty if i ever got to drive it much. my son has one on his jeep wrangler and he likes it as well. ive read over and over about the real true dollar for dollar performance upgrade although expensive is your bolt-on supercharger kit but has anyone ever had positive experiences with the so-called jet performance stage i and ii chips or the hypertech power programmer are these yet another performance gimmick that have fooled many truck owners into buying. id be interested to hear any negative experiences or positive ones if any... .
