Passenge Air Bag Light 2004 Durango

Q: i have a 2004 durango limited hemi and on a long trip this weekend the passenger air bag light was mostly on once in a while flickering off. i took it to a dealer near my destination and they did a check and all was ok. sure enough on the way back it came on again. now i had no passenger with me. i did a little reading on this and and found that there is a sensor gauging factors like weight that enables/disables the airbag. i know i had a dufflebag at least part of the time on the trip but im not sure if the light was on when it was off the seat. anyone here have any similar experience/advice. thanks. .
