Parking Brake and ABS warning lites on together - 2000 Dakota with rear ABS

Q: got the same problem on my 99 ram 1500 4x4. one other thing that ive noted is that the speedo registers 0mph until i get up to about 25mph then it functions normally. from reading other forums this is indicative of a bad abs/speed sensor its in the rear diff. ill replace it this week and see what happens. coh wrote i have a 2000 dakota automatic with 4x4 with front disk and rear drum brakes with rear abs option. the abs and brake warning lights go on together important element and there are no problems with the disk brakes brake fluid rear brakes. everythings been changed/checked includin fluid levels. everything seems to work ok. i beleive the abs is ok too but havent had ice to try it out yet... been too warm here rather odd once its reset it stays off for a while then comes on again usually at speeds over say 30 mph 50km/h anyone have any experience with this or a solution is there anything i should be worried about thanks all. a great forum! .

actually the pinhead does have a point. you are introducing a sexually based conversation into a ng that children may be reading and in all honesty it is in poor taste. ya can agree with him if you want but he will still hate you. cause he hates himself. i am using the word not describing it. also if i believe in it its gotta be okay. it seems to work for others as a excuse for assholeish actions. but if folks are offended im sure i can come up with somthing else. maybe ill join larrys religion. beer! or perhaps denny will turn loose the machine and we can pay homage to it. .

the discussion a few months back and other times off and on you had with miles about limiting the income for business owners and inclusively ceos. the point is tom as miles tried to tell you this is a free enterprise free market society and it is by majority rule what about 80% in favor of no limitations. based on what some crap form fox lol i dont recall seeing any percentages in that article and who exactly did they ask in this country you are in the minority in this attitude and will probably never see those limits in place. no need to discuss it as it was just for your information. minority attitude huh lol. you really need to pull your head out of the sand and look around a little. stock holders are starting to bash companies that overpay their ceos look at hd and many companies are looking to go private perhaps so that they can continue their corrupt methods of insane pay to the select few without fear of stockholder repercussions. sorry budd but i am in the majority here. just thought youd find it interesting to read and it kinda proves youre wrong about how i feel towards you doesnt it how does this prove anything on one hand you could say that you took the time to find something for me which could be a positive but otoh what you found you now claim proves me wrong and in the minority which sheds a negative light on it. so tell me budd what exactly does this mean -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

just saw on speed that bobby hamilton sr. died today at his home at the age of 49. he died from the neck and head cancer he was diagnosed with last year. that is sad. he was a racers racer. roy looks like at some point we are all going to be stuck with assclowns like gordon and johnson as all the others are retiring dying or leaving for other reason. kenseth will be around for quite a while. .

on mon 22 jan 2007 144456 -0500 topcop topcop128@yahoo.com wrote my 1998 dodge ram 1500 2wd tends to drift to the right. even after having it aligned same problem. i know that if i raise the wheel off the ground and can move it back and forth holding top and bottom the ball joints are bad. what about side to side motion what should i look for pittman arm tie rod or what thanks in advance. could be a lot of things. for starters swap front tires side to side and see if it stays the same. check tire pressure too if it does check for a loose wheel bearing and a draging disc brake. last just because it was aligned does not mean it is right. alignemnt specs are kinda a guidleine of sorts because different car can have different needs to be tweaked too cars are not built on rigid mil spec or air craft standards it would help a lot if you could post your alignemnt specs as they are currently set to se what problem might be i use to do alignments in another life and time long long ago there was a time when alignment techs knew how to tweak cars alignment buut today they just put it on computerized rack and set it to spec and call it a day. ----------------- thesnoman.com what makes you qualified to examine alignment specs you still havent found that knock sensor on the 488 8.0l that you claim is there....heck at this point ill take one off of a 5.2l 318 cid. here ill help you out a bit.......there is no knock sensor on a la engine. now as for the op. your saying that if you have your hands on the front and rear of the tire you can shake the tire as if it was turning the truck right i would check the tie rods drag link and pitman. also i hate to admit it but the tire thing that snoman could be a clue try swapping the fronts if you dont find anything loose in the front end. the rest of his rant about the specs of the car....well i wont comment on that. -- ---------------------------- -chris 05 ctd 06 liberty crd real trucks dont need spark plugs. .

do you have one what is it on what do you like abought it any dislikes i have a smarty stacked with a tst powermax 3 on an 01 3500 quad cab 4x4 ho / six speed. smarty for low end power and tst for top end. smarty can smoke like a freight train tst barely smokes at all if smarty isnt programmed. likes power tst can be adjusted on the fly i have the remote version smarty requires the truck to be off to program dislikes clutch slipage... .

this pickup is in very good condition! has all new wiring on a 6 pin wiring harness is standard cab long bed and has a 318cu. v8.motor and transmission that are out of a 1986 plymouth.has approx 75000 miles on motor and transmission and we are the third owners. i had plans for this pickup but other things have come into consideration. this truck has dual exhaust and the hitch is frame mounted.rims are factory and truck has no rust at all. it has a new heavy duty battery and the original bench seat has no holes rips or ware on it! asking $2500.00 firm we are in north alabama near huntsville. ask for jim at 256-599-3016 or256-599-5933 .
