Parasitic currnet drain, 2001 QC2500 4x4 V8

in response to tom lawrence s post. i thought everyone should know are you up to 3 wheels on the back yet to get all that power to the ground or are you just counting on the new shocks to help keep her planted two is still pretty good for now. it actually takes quite a bit to bust the duallies loose though a 15psi launch does light them up nicely - i tend not to do that too much as it scares the crap out of everyone around myself included. that same launch in 4wd well... thats a good way to induce a case of whiplash and shot-put a u-joint a good 75-80 yards. speaking of which.... im still on factory u-joints. hmmmm.... weekend project. lol leave them.......shoot ya have abused them poor u-joints this long why stop now bg -- chris .

i have a bad 94 dodge 250 ram van transmission 318 motor. i thought i found a replacement only to find it will not work. is there a site out there that will cross you to other available transmissions that will work in a 1994 i searched for cross references for engine motor or transmission with no luck. i also found an older dakota but it has a smaller engine and probably will not work. any help would be appreciated. .

there is sufficient drain overnight to render a quick start impossible. i had to resort to push starts...and i tell ya... pushing this beast uphill fast enough is hard. ^ that isnt parasitic drain. thats rape of a battery.vbg anyway...i think i may have found the cuplrit. i went ahead and disconnected all the positive leads and reconnected them one by one. as i reconnected the plow leads i realized the relays for the plow system were clicking....little light goes off in my head....thats gotta be it. so as of this moment the plow leads are disconnected and im checking to see if the drain is still ongoing. i should know here shortly. if you are useing a joy stick it could be hanging up and not quite centered. you might want to unplug that as well. roy -- ------------------------------------------ laszlo almasi ----cool toys formerly carolina watercraft works ----mack daddy trailers ----ice angels how much parasitic current is being drawn fred ok ive done the meter test at the battery and disconnected each and every fuse one by one in order to narrow down my search but thus far the drain still exists. anyone have any insight as to a possible or typical problem with this model new battery was installed btw. the putor steals some juice as well. aftermarket theft system roy ------------------------------------------ laszlo almasi ----cool toys formerly carolina watercraft works ----mack daddy trailers ----ice angels .
