theres just not a heck of a lot of room anywhere else for one... thats why i went with a cobra 75wxst everything integrated into the mike i have a 75wxst but its going in the 04.5. shell rotella-t 15w40 is a popular choice. is it ok to run the 15w40 in -20 and colder if you keep it plugged in for filters nothing but fleetguard. i ended up getting an oem filter any real difference - is the oil capacity on my 01 the same as my 04.5 yep... 12qts. total. 11 in the pan one in the filter. i found my owners manual under the seat. its calling for 10 in the oil pan plus 1 in the filter for a total of 11. why the difference thanks tom .
