on tue 06 dec 2005 231725 -0600 tetraethylleadremovethis@yahoo.com brent p wrote so it makes sense for a car manufacturer to suggest lighter oil be used. cafe also forces the issue. the owners manual says 5w30 is preferred for temps up to 100 degrees for the 4.7 because fuel economy will be better. it specifically says that fuel economy is the reason. guess they didnt need any fuel mileage help with the 2.5 3.9 and 5.9 all which give 10w30 as preferred and 5w30 as acceptable. wierd stuff. probably some double talk going on here. .

i didnt see your reply till i went to google. ill give it a few days to catch up as it turns out the cable was cut a couple times by construction crews over the past couple days. sarcasm on gotta love those guys that dig before looking. sarcasm off budd my server seems to have dumped the past month or so of messages. on wed. every message on all groups i subscribe to came up saying expired and no new messages until this morning. i have been using t-bird and it works well for me. prior to t-bird i used netscape which is nearly identicle. .
