Q: i have to change the distributor cap rotor and wires on my 96 ram w/ a 5.9l engine. is there any way to get to the distributor cap w/o having to remove the air cleaner i removed the factory air box and went with a cold air intake. the hat of the intake is not the easiest to fool with because there isnt much room there to move. any help with this would be great! thanks chris 96 ram slt cc w/ 5.9l .

mac.davis@comcast.net wrote i found a great source of info both times with both text and pictures... its called an owners manual... although it goes against my nature i actually did check the owners manual for this one before i posted and didnt find anything. but anyone who can miss the screws can probably miss the relevant text in the manual. thanks to you and ram man and thats me for revealing the crucial screws.... mission accomplished. -- to reply by email please edit return address as indicated. .
