Q: nope... the closest distance between cab and trailer comes at 45. i just realized what a stupid statement that came across as... obviously if you keep going beyond 90 youre eventually going to hit. what i meant was between 0 and 90. the critical dimensions come at 45. if it will clear beyond a 45 swing then youre good up to and a little beyond 90. based on some quick calculations here and a lot of estimating i figure the pin-to-corner distance to be around 45 or so.... might be a tight squeeze. tom if the pin to corner distance is 45 wouldnt the pin to center of the rear window be even shorter if so your statement about if it will clear beyond a 45* swing then youre good up to and a little beyond 90*. is a bit suspect. im just envisioning a circle with the center on the center pin and the arc smacking the either the truck cab corner or center of the window but the same arc will not smack both. im thinkin if you measure from the center of the trailers pin to the front corner of the trailer that will be your critical distance. take that distance to the truck and see how close to the cab you get from a point over the center of the bed side to side and centered over the rear axle. im thinkin he will be better off with a slider hitch. fmb north mexico ** posted from http//www.tera.com ** .

tbone wrote where do you come up with this complete horseshit if you really think that it works that way or is that simple then you know far less than even i accuse you of. if you stop making payments they will simply begin hitting your credit rating for late and missing payments and begin assessing fines against you for late and missed payments. if you continue not to pay and dont pay the fines then they will take you to court and sue the money out of you. lol you have no clue! the same thing happened in the 1980s when people took out high interest mortages thanks carter!. when the rates dropped under reagan they bailed took a hit on their credit and bought a new house. i did it and so did many others. your bs above is from someone who has no clue. take you to court lol. guess this whole foreclosure thing really is bogus since these homeowners are simply being sued instead. lol and who exactly are the idiots that decided to go with subprimes do you even know what that means many of these people were conned into getting slimy loans that they didnt understand that quickly turned into loans that they couldnt afford. many of these people took a subprime not because of bad credit or low income. they took it because it allowed them to buy a far larger home than they could otherwise. now they are facing reality from their own stupid decision. yes i blame the lenders too for conning them into buying more than they could afford. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

i read someplace that if your fuel filter is a bit clogged it can cause the pump to overheat and shut down. ive been dealing with a very intermittant problem for a few years on a 318 van and im thinking that it might be due to the pump shutting down. i tracked down a few other intermittant electrical problems and up untill yesterday the truck had been running perfect for about a year. i wasnt getting fuel at the engine so i eventually pulled the fuel line off of the filter input and ran a direct 12 volts to the fuel pump to rule everything else out. the pump didnt pump. but after sitting all night the pump works. i guess the pump had enough time to cool down my question is if the pump overheats does it normally take that long to cool down or do you think that my pump is intermittant #2 - if i have to drop the tank do i have to buy a special tool from dodge or is there some other deep drive socket out there that can reach the nuts. tia bg .

based on some quick calculations here and a lot of estimating i figure the pin-to-corner distance to be around 45 or so.... might be a tight squeeze. i had a buddy bring over his shortbed today. we attempted to connect my camper to his 5th wheel at a 45 degree angle. no way! backing into a tight camping spot is tough enough without having to worry about hitting the cab of the truck. i went today and bought an 08 long bed quad cab. see thread goodbye 5.9 hello 6.7. thanks for all the help im positive ill have more questions. nathan in montana http//concealedcarryforum.com .
