ld i just did this same surgery on my 00 slt cept on the passenger side. i took out the entire lock assy. and the power door lock actuator is part of the latch so you have to replace the entire unit. whoever thought of making the gears out of nylon is outta their mind. the gears are all chewed up. i tried to service mine but couldnt find repair parts available. i found a new unit from a dodge dealer on ebay for about $65 shipped. the missing screw holding you up is behind the inner latch handle. pull the chrome handle and the phillips screw same one as near the arm rest is there unger tha handle. you already know about the screw near the mirror mount and the 2 at the very bottom edge. pull the panel up and over the lip of the window opening about 1 and the panel comes away from the door. of course you have the latch rod attached by a clip and the wire harnesses for the speakers power windows locks and the power mirror control. hth merry christmas curtis whats with these is it common for them to break i need help it sounds like something has stripped like gear teeth spinning on my drivers side. i tried to get to it but after removing 2 screws at the bottom of the door panel one large near the arm rest and 1 near the r.v mirror lifting dislodging some plastic clips the panel is still attached somewhere in the middle. cant find a shop manual can anyone help on this diagram and/or how to remove the panel or should i buy a new actuator before i remove or is it fixable thanks ld .

i have a 98 ram 1500 5.2 auto that has suddenly developed a shifting problem. very light throttle will shift 1-2 at 2800 rpm higher with more gas. it also downshifts early. it acts like it thinks the throttle is open 25-50% more than it is. the trans does not appear to be slipping but the shift up and down is screwy. once it shifts 1-2 at light throttle it will go on and shift up to 3 & 4 fairly normally. id appreciate any ideas. thanks! .

well pudge my ass is sore. we ended up with about a foot which is alot for this area. thirteen hrs of my ass sitting in the truck with only one piss break. im dammed glad those seats aint heated... bg denny good deal!! the money came just in time for christmas. with regards to your sore ass man it has to really be painful given the size of it. bfg yeah plus mopar doesnt make a seat heater big enuf! thanks mike. merry christmas to you too....... vbg good point mike. ya have to figure our furry buddy is all tuckered out after bouncing off curbs tearing up grass and a occasional lawn sprinkler system. then when he gets the aforementioned fat ass out of bed he has to go outside and tighten up all the bolts on his plow rig. while we sit in our warm homes and type more stuff about him. plus i get to think about toys..... what comes to mind is why in 13 hours he only stopped once to pee. perhaps he had a depend on. seems a little strange to me. anybody have any thoughts on this gbfg thats easy just flop it out the window and go. its a bitch when its this cold out tho.. bg denny...on the way out to tighten bolts and touch up lots before work.. roy mike roy weve been on the north edge of the storm. just about 20 miles to the south has 8-10 inches when we just had a dusting. a couple of hours ago we started to get it. the forecast is still 10-14 inches overnight. the way its been snowing the last couple of hours we may just get it. i plan on getting another snooze and head out about 3am. and its supposed to get a little chilly on fri. and sat. only about 15 below. ho ho ho bg denny you been out making money sounds like a bunch of snow out there. roy .
