Q: if you think im a itch in print you should meet me face-to-face! maybe thats the reason you didnt get any help here. or maybe you didnt bother to do the simplest thing towards helping you solve the problem. as much as you want dodge to go bust chrysler vehicles are still the only ones that will cough up a a dtc diagnostic trouble code without anything except an ignition key. you have that right i get the feeling you just like to bitch. fine have at it but remember the source of your problems is staring back at you while you apply makeup in the mirror. -- max everyone is entitled to his own opinion he is not entitled to his own facts. sen. daniel patrick moynihan of new york there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author just in case anyone gives a damn i found out what was the problem with my truck--no thanks to this site and its visitors. it was a stinkin rear wheel sensor. what the heck dodge puts these danged things in your autos just so they can go bad and cost you a fortune to fix them. if you think im a itch in print you should meet me face-to-face! my post was i have idiot lights air bag engine brakes on but everything checks out o.k. the child protection door locks are supposed to lock up at 15 mph but now they dont. when the locks quit working the speedometer and milage meter quit too. battery tests okay. no blown fuses. help i hope dodge goes bust .

ive got a 97 dakota longbed 2wd. would it be worth the money to get bilsteins any ideas are welcomed. any brand-name shock is going to perform better than the stock ones particularly if theyre as old as the truck. bilstein makes a good shock - you wouldnt be wasting your money. thanks to both tom and the wiley1. both of your comments are appreciated as i know you both speak from wisdom and experience. ken .

in response to craig c. s post. i thought everyone should know tom lawrence wrote im not sure what else to tell you - this absolutely works. starting in the off position cycle the key to on where the instrument panel lights illuminate then back one notch to off back to on then to off then finally to on. any stored codes will be displayed on the odometer. much to my dismay i couldnt get this to work on the wifes liberty either when the check engine light came on. i thought jeep would work like a dodge but i finally decided that i was wrong and took it to the dealership and let them figure it out. ended up being a bad egr. craig c. it does not work on the liberty crd with the vm-motori engine. its not a diamler crystler ecm. from what a service manager friend of mine has told me -- chris .

i have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7l hemi and am having a hard time pulling the diagnostic trouble codes from it. the mil has come on and off a few times over the last couple weeks and i finally decided i wanted to know what the codes were that got strored. there are are no outward signs of any problems whatsoever. every dodge ive ever seen could have the codes pulled by cycling the ignition key 3 times from off to on. i tried this every way i can think of on this truck and nothing seems to work. any suggestions would be appreciated. .

in response to mike simmons s post. i thought everyone should know roy wrote miles you continue to ignore the question. you say it is moving fast enough to cool the tube and keep it cool. where are you finding all this velocity lets take the 5.7l hemi for instance. what is the volume of air it would draw in each revolution the formula for any four stroke engine is cfm = cid x rpm x ve /3456 where cfm = cubic feet/minute cid = cubic inch displacement rpm= revolutions per minute ve = volumetric efficiency to calculate velocity thru the air intake system cfm/intake area in square feet this does not take into account the very minor loses due to friction. more fuel to the fire..... ;^ mike ok mr gasoline man................. what is the ve of a new hemi -- chris .
